> 3 dayI moved my desktop to my desk top and omg was it ever loud with its original fan. Bought this and swapped it in easily. No regrets at all. Nice and quiet.

> 3 dayI replaced the fan in a Behringer NX1000D with this unit. Fit is excellent and it runs silently now. I run the amp 8 hrs a day and have not had any overheating issues. It’s a little more expensive than other options but I’m satisfied.

> 3 dayQuiet with excellent airflow. Ive used about 15 of these (with 3-pin to mini 2-pin GPU fan adapter cables, purchased elsewhere) to replace the stock fans in cheap JBOD/RAID enclosures. The oldest have been running 24/7 in a hot cabinet for about 4 years [UPDATE: 6 years!], and are still going strong.

Greater than one weekInstalled in a Synology DS1515+. I expected them to be quieter than the factory installed fans. However, from the start, I noticed little if any difference in noise level between these Noctua fans and the original fans. Now, after just a few months, these fans are make a buzzing sound. Going to reinstall the original fans.

> 3 dayI was expecting it to be quieter based on all the reviews. I can still hear it clearly running all the time. Its not silent at all. However, the quality seems to be pretty good so I guess I cant complain too much. Im going to look for a quieter fan. Just because you pay more for something doesnt mean that youre for sure getting a better product as is the case with this. I only recommend it if you still want to hear a fan going in your computer, amp, or whatever youre installing it in.
