The packaging is first-class, visually appealing but still easy to open and well laid out inside. The included extras included not only a 4-pin power adapter but also a lengthy extension cable and two rubber-wrapped noise isolation extender cables. Also included were both stainless steel screws and rubber mounting posts for additional noise reduction.

> 3 dayNoctua employees should take math classes.They clearly dont know the difference between 80 and 140 millimeters. I ordered two Noctua NF-A8 Premium 80mm fans and I received two Noctua NF-P14 FLX 140mm fans. Funny thing is, on the side of the box, there is a sticker that says they are the 80mm model... right under the packaging print that clearly states NF-P14FLX 140x140.25mm. Im not a happy camper.

> 3 dayBought this after trying cheaper alternatives which ended up being very noisy. When I first got this, I hooked it up to a power supply before I installed it just to see how quiet it was. At first I thought it wasnt running, but it was, and was just very quiet. Recommended!!

Its always on, and its in my living room. I hooked this one up and I had to double check that it was running it was so quiet. Inner Surface Microstructures
With the tips of the fan blades ploughing through the boundary layer created by the Inner Surface Microstructures, flow separation from the suction side of the blades is significantly suppressed, which results in reduced blade passing noise and improved airflow and pressure efficiency.
