> 24 hourMy PC was a custom build through iBuyPower which came with 4 stock corsair fans, which have been replaced by these specific Noctua models. Im not a computer wiz by any means, and maybe Ive installed or configured them incorrectly, and Im hoping someone might enlighten me on this, if so, but I can tell no difference whatsoever in the loudness of my computer housing after installing these. I installed them in the same configuration as the stock fans (in terms of placement and orientation) and theyre every bit as loud if not louder. In fact, Im pretty confident theyre louder, which is a bit of a disappointment. I went into my bios/mobo configuration tool and even went so far as to change the fan speeds from full to auto and it still sounds like a wind tunnel. Any suggestions, here?

> 24 hourI recently purchased two of these fans to replace my current radiator fans in my IN WIN 101. First impressions were great, I could easily feel the flow of air through the radiator and the panel holes once I had everything closed up. I chose these fans for the superior static pressure to push air past the radiator.

> 24 hourat 300rpms its as loud and my corsairs going a full speed. still worth it, i have 4 of them on my corsair commander pro and they idle at 400rpms. they move so much air that when gaming under heavy load they only speed up for a minute before the system is cool enough they drop back to idle speeds.

> 24 hourThese are almost silent at 100%. They are from the computer caddy on the ground to my ears sitting in a chair a few feet away. When you’re building a PC, you think, what fans should I put to get optimal airflow?, especially no radiator, all cooling fan fabrication. Actually right now I have a mesh front and 2 120mm fans pulling air from my machine. The fan that came with the machine has a white LED and I can feel air being pulled if I put my hand up to the mesh and focus on the feeling. On the noctuas, my hand can be 6” away and it still feels air moving around it. I want my air to go in, circulate, and go out as fast as possible. That’s what keeps it cool. All the places that can have a fan, add more circulation if you go in and up and out. I have the stronger one helping the GPU make sure it moves air.

> 24 hourExcellent product, they are resistant to splashes and dust, the air flow they handle is adequate to my needs and keep the case of my PC cool, they are not as quiet as other fans, but they are not the noisiest, they generate around 54 dB when they are running at maximum revolutions, the materials with which they are built are very resistant, so much so that I accidentally put a screwdriver in the blades at maximum revolutions and they resisted the impact without breaking.

> 24 hourWhile searching for fans to replace the stock fan on my Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, sitting on an Intel i7-6700K. The lone stock fan just wasnt doing enough when the processor got over 50% load. Lots of research later I found these and went with them over the more common NF-F12 PWM because the NF-F12 iPPC-2000 PWM has a higher RPM, better air flow, and much better Static Air Pressure, all with only a small bump in noise levels. It does use twice the power at full speed but I can accept that if it can keep the CPU from becoming a toaster oven. After the install I did see a 5 degree Celsius drop in idle and light duty usage. When the fresh heat transfer becomes fully cured Ill put it under a heavy load and see how my temps hold up. If things go south, and if I still have a working system, Ill update accordingly. For now Im very happy with them. If I dont update this in the future you can assume everything worked great and no smores were made on the CPU cooler before going all fireball on me. I really like smores but i can build something much cheaper to make those on! Wow, now I might have my Christmas project figured out, now to work out its best system for good results. well its time to take this conversation over to instructables.com.
