Greater than one weekThis is a very powerful and quiet fan. I dont know what everyone else is saying that its loud, its not. Best fan I have ever bought will not be buying anything but these ever again for my builds.

> 3 dayI finally gave into the Noctua Craze and came out of it feeling sorely disappointed. This fan arrives in a cheap box and a set of 4 silver screws. They finally offer a more muted color tone as opposed to their brown fans, but dont give any accessories at all with it. Couldnt even give us black colored screws? Really? On top of that, the sleeved cable is just a cheap piece of rubber covering that isnt even long enough to hide the colored wires at the end.

> 3 dayBy far the best fans I have ever owned. Even at the higher max rpm these things are still next to silent in the 600-1200 rpm range. Over that and they become comparable to Corsairs (running at a much lower RPM).

> 3 dayMy PC was a custom build through iBuyPower which came with 4 stock corsair fans, which have been replaced by these specific Noctua models. Im not a computer wiz by any means, and maybe Ive installed or configured them incorrectly, and Im hoping someone might enlighten me on this, if so, but I can tell no difference whatsoever in the loudness of my computer housing after installing these. I installed them in the same configuration as the stock fans (in terms of placement and orientation) and theyre every bit as loud if not louder. In fact, Im pretty confident theyre louder, which is a bit of a disappointment. I went into my bios/mobo configuration tool and even went so far as to change the fan speeds from full to auto and it still sounds like a wind tunnel. Any suggestions, here?

> 3 dayMy msi gaming 970 mobo doesnt let me control the fab speeds so they run at around 50% speed..i have them on my water cooler and i gotta say they are pretty amazing..they are really quiet and managed to keep my hot amd fx 8350 which would idle at 50°c - 73°c with an air cooler

Greater than one weekI bought this to replace the obnoxiously loud fan on my Lepa AIO cooler. The Noctua isnt silent, nor does it claim to be, but it is much quieter than the fan it replaced. The stock fan on the Lepa was like a shrieking harpy in comparison.

> 3 dayInstalled two of these these on a Cyrotech A40 Ultimate after one of the originals died after about 6000 hours of use. The materials feel much more quality than the old fans and the jacketing is a lot more robust with a really nice fold point by the pin connector.
