Greater than one weekIve ordered 4 different Noctua products and this is the best of the 4 Ive bought. I bought 2 different 140 mm fans (4 Noctua fans), 2 of these 120 mm fans, and a Noctua CPU cooler. I now have 6 Noctua fans in my case and like everything else in my PC build, its overkill and that was the intention. Ive overclocked my CPU, GPU, and RAM so I wanted adequate cooling for all that overclocking.

Greater than one weekThe fans work well, but they are a bit too loud for my taste. I prefer the noise level of the stock F12

> 3 dayI had to replace the cooling fan in my 5-6 year old WD XL4100 MyCloud NAS and this is the closest cross I could find. The original fan is no longer available. The replacement was easy and the NAS booted up and functioned properly. This Noctua It has slightly less power than the original Sunon fan but the difference was so minor I am not worried about it. Noctua does make a 3000RPM fan but I didnt know if the circuits in the NAS could handle tripple the current draw not to mention it would take 6 days to ship the 3K RPM model and I needed the NAS back online ASAP. From all reviews I have read everywhere these hold up and perform quite well so I doubt I will need to update this review with any bad news.

> 3 dayMy msi gaming 970 mobo doesnt let me control the fab speeds so they run at around 50% speed..i have them on my water cooler and i gotta say they are pretty amazing..they are really quiet and managed to keep my hot amd fx 8350 which would idle at 50°c - 73°c with an air cooler

> 3 dayI got a Hydro Series H100i v2 liquid CPU cooler, which I installed on the top of my case as an exhaust. One of the fans started to make a very loud rattling sound on high speeds, so I replaced it. I was choosing between this and the 3000 PWM version, but chose that one because of the many reviews that mentioned that it was silent. But it was way too loud, even at the lowest speed. So I got this fan, and it is way better. The 3000 PWM fan pushes a lot more air, but the difference in temperature was too small. And there was a great difference in noise.

> 3 dayNoctua fans are pricey, but sometimes you have to pay a bit more for quality. This model in particular isnt a quiet model, but Im not knocking any points off because its not designed to be a silent fan - it says industrial in the name for a reason. This is something youll want if you live in a warm climate and need heavy-duty cooling; or if youre trying to keep a home server cool. Four-pin connector ensures that the fan is only moving as fast as it needs to and slows down when temps fall back into normal range. You can never go wrong with a Noctua fan.

> 3 dayA bit loud at full speed (31dB) but it moves A LOT of air and has great static pressure at that speed.
