> 3 dayI have a high-end workstation from a very well-respected shop. The fan it came with blew out after about 15 months, so I replaced it with this one. Even at full speed (~1500 RPMs) its extremely quiet, barely audible in a quiet room. And according to the BIOS utilities, its keeping my CPU cooler than the previous, noisy fan. I had just thought of this as a replacement, but its a noticeable upgrade. Very happy with this.

> 3 dayIm currently running 3 of these in my Phantom 410 and I honestly cant hear any sound coming from these fans. The included extension cables allow the perfect amount of length to lead these to the front exhaust ports on my case as well as any other port. I have them hooked up to fan connectors 1 through 3 on my motherboard and they are emitting zero sound through either vibration of the chassis or whine from the bearings. I think Noctua honestly has earned its reputation for this line of fans!

Focused Flow frame
Designed for pressure demanding applications such as heatsinks and radiators, the Focused Flow frame features eleven stator guide vanes that straighten, channel and focus the airflow, which allows the NF-F12 to rival the performance of conventional fans running at much faster speeds.
