> 3 dayNoctua is a brand known for their quiet and effective fans. This one was no different. I installed it on a fan header that did not have controls, so it ran at full speed. However, I used the included throttle cable to let it run at less speed, and quieter.

> 3 dayIncredibly quiet. I have 11 of these bad boys in my case (water cooled) and i can NOT hear a thing. Absolutely 100% quiet. Great fans. Dont hesitate to buy them. Nothing beats them. Nice packaging with lots of accessories for each fan.

Focused Flow frame
Designed for pressure demanding applications such as heatsinks and radiators, the Focused Flow frame features eleven stator guide vanes that straighten, channel and focus the airflow, which allows the NF-F12 to rival the performance of conventional fans running at much faster speeds.
