Greater than one weekContacted Noctua about about my new fan and what appeared to be a quality control failure from the factory. They replied with excuses which were not helpful and certainly didnt resolve anything. When I replied asking them to replace the fan they never responded. So, if you have a problem with your Noctua product, dont count on them being helpful or honoring their warranty. They obviously try to increase sales by offering a long warranty but its utterly meaningless if they just ignore customers who actually request a replacement. Furthermore, Ive done some checking and there are other complaints about their bad (even rude and disrespectful) customer service. Based on my experience with this Noctua fan purchase, I would not recommend it specifically or the brand generally.

> 3 dayI purchased two of the PWM models so I could control the fans using my motherboard. These fans are extremely quiet. My motherboard has a fan tuning app to let me know the minimum amount of power needed for these fans, and it also allows me to change the speed based on my cpu temp which is important for a home media pc and server. I just wish the Noctua fan line wasnt so ugly (I wouldnt put these in a windowed case)! Also in the box is an extension cable, the rubber mounting plugs (i prefer screws), fan splitter (for connecting two fans using the same pwm plug), and screws. The fans have built-in vibration pads in each corner so needless to say they dont vibrate. If you are new to the pc build scene, remember to create positive airflow by allowing more air in then out.

Greater than one weekThese are great case fans. According to my laser thermometer, it is pulling 1-2degrees colder air compared to Noctua NF-A14, 140mm fan.
