Greater than one weekChose this cooler as part of an HTPC upgrade and cannot be happier. Is nearly silent even at 100% fan, not that it will ever get there. I had to force max speed to test dBs. My system runs no more than 65°C at max CPU with the fan at about 1k RPMs...which is nearly inaudible.

> 3 dayGreat product! It cool down my old AMD Fx8350 and is quiet too. New fan of the Noctua’s fans. ;)

> 3 dayGood size for medium to large case. I was putting it in a Kolink case which is on the smaller end of medium and it was a very tight squeeze. Works like a charm though so once its in it stays. Very efficient cooler. I highly recommend it.

> 3 dayNot enough cooling power if you have a high end PC. It was supposed to be alright based on their numbers but it didnt pass the cut...

> 3 dayMounting issue. When I lay the case flat down horizontally like a HTPC or rack server, the performance is almost as good as my Noctua D15s. Once I shift the case into normal vertical orientation, temperatures went from 63 to 72 degree Celsius real fast (Ive remounted and tested this multiple times). Ive also tested this with the heat pipes facing in every possible direction except for top-to-bottom, as instructed by Noctua. I guess this cooler is more suited towards HTPC chassis such as Fractal Node 304, because performance takes a hit if you use it in a tower case. My theory is that either the concave base loses optimal contact with the processor when positioned in a vertical orientation, or the bent heat pipes have trouble in that configuration, which might also explains the varying results from many different professional reviews on the Internet.

> 3 dayThis thing is a fantastic beast of heat dissipation with the single fan it comes with. Add another on top and I dunno you must be overclocking at the limits, ut Im sure it will handle it. Also very quiet in operation even under stress testing. My only caution is in my title. It comes with Id say the perfect install phillips tool but its hard to see , and unless you do say 4 or 5 of these you wont have the feel for it. Usually one of the two screws is in a hard to observe area so do that one first the second one is easy. Also seeing between the fan blades and getting a good side shot, well an endoscope would have come in handy there. Also with all the attempts I did lose some skin to the cooling vanes. The manufacture warns that once installed dont travel with the computer without first uninstalling the cooler, its heavy enough and in such a small area attachment point I believe it may break off the motherboard in transit or if the desktop falls a few feet. In the end Noctua, you have done it , and delivered

Greater than one weekUsed with high end i7 processor. Concerned about the height because i had to ship th esystem after it was built, but no issues. It screws down to the motherboard vs snaps which is good. There is some flex if you need to bend the pipes a little. One thing to note on my Asus motherboard, it does block 2 of the memory banks. So i had to install before i put on this cooler. Other than that A+

> 3 dayAs with any Noctua product, its excellent. A little lighter than my D14, and I like that you can change the orientation to assist with avoiding other components on the motherboard. The ability to mount the fan (or 2) in low profile or high clearance is nice as well. Running games, the temperature only goes around 15-20C above ambient, which is great! I just wish Noctua would go away from the bland beige colour.

> 3 dayUsed on a AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU in a Cooler Master NR200 case. Substantially lower temps on both idle/low load and stress test.

> 3 dayPerfect fit with enough clearance to access RAM. Not much else to say as its Noctua...only 2 wishes , 1 you had an option to have black a fan over there traditional beige and 2 they gave you an extra fan clip so you could purchase another fan and run push/pull setup.
