Noctua NH-C14S, Premium CPU Cooler with NF-A14 PWM 140mm Fan (Brown)

Love it!

Je navais aucun besoin dun refroidisseur aussi performant, cest même un peu excessif pour mon usage personnel, mais je ne regrette absolument pas cet achat ! Je voulais surtout un refroidisseur de processeur qui soit silencieux et je suis servi. Mais je savais à quoi mattendre puisque tout mon système est équipé Noctua.

Very quiet, inaudible from more than 2 feet at idle, and temps are very low. Used in HTPC with fan blowing up from below heatsink, the draft probably helps cool the memory because the fan is right above it.

Works great! Brought my cpu temperature (ryzen 3700) down from 82-83 C under stress test to 74-76 C.

Works very well, huge fan and cooling area. I bought a second one for another build.

Have it In a corsair crystal 460x case cooling a 3820 I7. Temps are 50c on load, they occasionally. go up to 52-53. Also have it on a i7 7700k in a Corsair 750d plenty of room. Keeps temps around 71 on max load. I dont have any other coolers to compare to as this is the only one I ever buy.

A principal object of this review is to provide the seemingly neclected Dell user with a relatively comprehensive path and projected success in resolving the regular and even dangerous overheating issues which so many of us experience with standard CPU coolers and multi-core processors.

Caught it on sale and replaced a Noctua NH-L9x65 (which moves less air), so the mounting bracket system was the same. Had to remove the fan to access the two hold-down screws then mounted the fan in the upper position (and blowing down). Not sure what the most efficient cooling position is and Noctua instructions did no say but they did note the upper position is the more quiet position besides including two extra fan wire holders if you want to run two fans in both mounting positions (and noted to use the throttle cable on the upper fan in that configuration).

I purchased this cooler because I had an awkward computer set up. Firstly, the case is too thin for full-sized tower coolers. And secondly, I have high profile memory. This made it almost impossible to find an air cooler that would work in my rig. But the NH-C14S was the answer.

I needed a high quality cooler that would fit into a 4U rackmount server case. This one was perfect when configured in the low profile fan setup. Very high quality as you would expect from Noctua.
