> 3 dayThis thing is a fantastic beast of heat dissipation with the single fan it comes with. Add another on top and I dunno you must be overclocking at the limits, ut Im sure it will handle it. Also very quiet in operation even under stress testing. My only caution is in my title. It comes with Id say the perfect install phillips tool but its hard to see , and unless you do say 4 or 5 of these you wont have the feel for it. Usually one of the two screws is in a hard to observe area so do that one first the second one is easy. Also seeing between the fan blades and getting a good side shot, well an endoscope would have come in handy there. Also with all the attempts I did lose some skin to the cooling vanes. The manufacture warns that once installed dont travel with the computer without first uninstalling the cooler, its heavy enough and in such a small area attachment point I believe it may break off the motherboard in transit or if the desktop falls a few feet. In the end Noctua, you have done it , and delivered

> 3 dayawesome cooler, keep my Xeon E5 2680 at ~58C without any problem and making almost no noise (that having it fully loaded all day long at ~28C ambient temp)

13-06-2025After switching to this Noctua cooler and Noctua NF-S12A case fans my PC is silent. Not hearing the shifting whine of the stock wraith prism cooler or the motor and bearings of the case fan I had before is worth the money. My temps are fantastic at idle and during a 100% CPU benchmark test. Ryzen 7 2700x.

> 3 dayI used this in a Silverstone GD08 with a Ryzen 9 5900x. At peak temps in Cinebench I was seeing just under 70C. At idle its completely silent. I compared it directly to a thermalright silver sould 135 and the thermalright was louder but 2-3C cooler. So if its for a sffp and you will be near it constantly, this noctua is probably the best option. But if its going to be rack mounted or you arent going to be near it when it is running, I would go with the thermalright.

Greater than one weekI love this cooler, the old school top down style really helps to keep VRM, mosfet and northbridge cool alongside the CPU.
