> 3 dayThis CPU cooler keeps my Ryzen 3950X very cool, and looks far better than the typical Noctua Poo-Brown. It is tall, though, and encroaches in the space for the top fan (200mm) in my Cooler Master HAF-XB case; this is the trade-off for having a large cooler for excellent performance, with fan size to match. So, I am exploring methods for mounting the fan on the outside of the top panel (instead of the intended internal mounting), with a shroud that I will fabricate somehow. The solid performance of this unit is worth the effort of making this case mod. Aesthetically, I like the black color, as it works perfectly with my black case and components, with no LED lighting.

> 3 dayI have used Noctua fans in the past and in my opinion they are the best. I am an Electrical engineer and as such there is an ingrained hesitancy about water coolers. In fact you can say it will never happen on one of my builds.Water and electronics dont play well tpgether. I had a Intel 875K cpu with a NH-D14 ocd to 4.0 all cores, and it ran fine for 7 years. I now have a Ryzen 5-3600 with this NH-D15 and will see what I can do with this combination.

> 3 dayOverall This cooler is great, looks awesome, works well (but not overwhelmingly amazing), and is super quiet. Holds my i9 9900k at 72-73 degrees c under full load @ boost clock of 4.7ghz. Mounting was super simple too. It did take about 12 hours for the thermal paste to settle and get the coolest temps.
