Noctua NH-D15 chromax.Black, Dual-Tower CPU Cooler (140mm, Black)

Im not sure if i received a used product, but the thermal paste was missing and the cooling contact was taped instead of having a plastic cover. When I received the box the outer tab to open the box was out and lends me to think Ive received a used product.

Grabbed this as part of a major PC upgrade on black Friday. Seriously, read the specs on the size of this thing before buying, it is enormous. I had trouble getting everything in the case, and working around it to get all the cabling done was a nightmare, but I got it done and dont have to redo it for years, so its fine.

This is a premium cooler. Build quality is top notch. All needed parts are nicely arranged inside the box and comes with easy to follow instruction manual. Mounting brackets for AMD and Intel sockets are both available.

Noctua è da tempo una garanzia di qualità nei dissipatori ad aria e passivi. Questo modello in particolare devo dire che offre delle performance notevoli mantenedo la cpu a temperature che superano anche taluni AIO a liquido, mantendo inoltre un rumore veramente molto molto basso.

First off. This cooler IS MASSIVE but it is so worth it. Consistently keeping my cpu cool and I never have to worry about my cpu even overclocked. I dont do stress test on my Pc as I will never plan to max it out. But I do play a lot of games for long periods of time and this fan has never went over %50 playing games on max with my ryzen 3600, Cpu stays cool.

Cools well, but is too large and blocks top GPU slot on my am4 board.

Top notch quality, and it even came with LGA1700 support! Wow Noctua great job!

Loved the black ... easy to install but it is tall and double fans .... great cooling ... 3900x with OCCT ran at about 65 degrees under power test .... 12 cores all maxed out .... video maxed out as well and still quiet ...

I read up a lot on CPU coolers when I bought my 9700k and I’m so happy I found out about Noctua and went with this buy. Obviously the chromax series is a nice upgrade for the looks because I was not a fan of their standers brown and tan coolers. The cooler is extremely quiet, and keeps my cpu icy cold for over clocking. It is definitely a bulky piece of equipment and won’t fit all motherboards but You can rotate into 4 different positions and the fans can go in different positions as well to hopefully fit most PC’s. If you have a mid size tower this cooler probably won’t fit. I have a gigabyte z390 aorus pro and it barely fit over the heat sinks on the mobo but man I was really happy that it did fit. If you have a tall large tower with a mobo that has multiple pci e slots (I had to drop my 1080ti down a slot to make room for the Noctua chromax) I would definitely recommend this for a CPU cooler.

This really is the best air cooler out there! Unfortunately the first one i received seem to have already been opened as some packaging stuff was open, foam padding was missing, and even the thermal paste was missing! I just ordered another one and it came perfect with everything. I will be returning my first order but i seen that some other review had the same issue. Maybe Amazon or Noctua needs to actually check the box when they receive a return rather than just putting it back on the shelf. But other than that, the cooler is great!
