> 24 hourIt took me 2 hours to install, doing it carefully and planning the steps so I didnt have to backtrack. To say its a big cooler is an understatement. Its *gigantic*, measuring clearances for it on your case and maneuvering it in are two different things. It gets in the way of every cable and screw you can imagine. It really helped to have a *long* (20cm+) screwdriver. The mounting system is well made, the instructions are _crystal clear_, but its quite a bit of work (LGA1151).

> 24 hourFan works great, CPU never goes over 50c. Only drawback is that I cant fit my gfx card in the top pci slot due to the fan being so big. As far as keeping temps down its great though.

> 24 hourI did NOT want a liquid-based cooling system for a high-powered CPU chip so chose this air cooler. The install went fine though, admittedly, I have little idea what 0.6Nm of torque feels like without a torque-settable screwdriver but am pretty sure I got close to that since, as soon as the CPU returns back to idle from a high-powered run, the temperature plummets back down to uninteresting range. The fans idle around 500rpm and are not noticeable at that speed; when the CPU is heavily engaged the fans speed up to 1500rpm and can be heard for sure. Because the mounting of the fans on the cooler is flexible w.r.t. height I was able to raise the fan nearest the front of my case to clear DRAM modules (as noted by the User Guide). Bottomline?: Im a Happy Camper with this cooling unit.
