> 3 dayThe Noctua D15 is an amazing cooler but its not rgb ram friendly. The front fan can be raised to make room but it might affect how the side panel close depending on the width of the case. Its not worth it in my opinion and it looks bad at the same time, covering most of the ram. Might have to install a 120mm fan instead like the D14. Its not as expensive from before as its trying to compete with smaller dual tower heatsinks thats within its cooling performance.

> 3 dayI was hitting 100C on my CPU under heavy load, which causes the CPU to throttle down with a Corsair water cooler with double 120MM fans on the radiator. I decided to try this Noctua air cooler since I read great review, This is not any louder than my old water cooler and consumes less energy, not having to drive a pump. Also no worries about a failed water cooler spilling liquid onto my energized motherboard. Water coolers have their place but you should avoid them unless you have a high end CPU that you run hard and/or want to show off your case hardware through a glass panel. This Noctua cooler is big, so make sure it will fit your case.

> 3 dayAfter 3 years of hard work my Thermaltake 360mm CLCs pump gave out. Im very much invested in the Noctua ecosystem with my fans so Im use to the aesthetics. That said, I decided to give their air cooler a shot. I am extremely impressed with the performance. The NH-D15 is considered the best performing air cooler and it lives up to that billing. My setup includes an Intel i7 5820K and its 140W TDP, running a modest overclock of 4.2 GHz with a core voltage of 1.255. The average temp under load is 68C and on idle it is 40C.
