Noctua NH-D15, Premium CPU Cooler with 2X NF-A15 PWM 140mm Fans (Brown)

This thing is a beast! Very simple to fit to ASUS ROG Strix B450-F Gaming ATX Motherboard. It takes a LOT of room though. It fitted in my Corsair Vengeance Series Black C70 Mid Tower case but I had to remove the top front cover fan as It was hitting the cooler.

This heatsink is too big for any normal sized ATX motherboard or case. If you are going to buy this heatsink ensure the 8pin power supply cables are able to still be connected when this oversized heatsink is installed. I had to put in 2x8pin power supply cables in place while with only two fingers because this heatsinks fan was right on top of it. I didnt think there would be this big of an issue as most heatsinks Ive used in the past were much smaller than this. This is bigger than my 4070Ti Geforce graphics card surface area-wise I feel like.

A very large cooler but it works well, make sure your case fits it

Going on five years now, my NH-D15 has been keeping my CPU nice and cool. Its dead reliable, and uses fewer moving parts than a water cooler; plus, theres never the risk of leakage with an air cooler. I recommend using this with a backplated motherboard, as its very heavy and can bend the PCB. If using without a backplate, you should be fine, but may need to re-seat the cooler onto the CPU after moving your desktop around. Never under normal use has it detached.

didnt know how it was going to install in my 2010 case. Using only one fan until I get a bigger case. Super silent running on a AMD 5900x.

The best air cooler on the market today. Im seeing temps as low as 23°C on idle and up to 55°C on load. This is stock as well (6700K). I dont overclock my PC. It was originally around 35°C idle but as I kept using it, the temps got even better. The thermal compound did its work as it got more time to spread. Good buy imho.

ho sostituito il mio vecchio Artic freezer liquid 120 con questo immenso monolite, cosa dire.......tiene a bada il mio 7700K occato a 4.7 GHz, le temperature in Battlefield 1 multiplayer sono arrivate massimo a 57 C°........provando uno stresstest come realbench, sono arrivate al massimo e dopo 1h a 62 C°

Il miglior dissipatore ad aria per CPU, completo di tutto, seconda ventola se necessario, io lìhp istallato su un I5-6600 per realizzare un pc di lavoro molto silenzioso uso una sola ventola e gira sui 460-480 rpm. Non si sente nulla e la CPU sta sui 30°. Prodotto costoso ma la qualità si paga, come giusto che sia per i materiali usati e lo sviluppo del prodotto. Ottimo acquisto.
