Its insane how good this heatsink is for being a air cooler i have a i7 7700k which runs hotter than most chips but ive never seen my cpu over 70c BUT BUYER BEWARE make sure you do measurements because i have a atx mid tower and if there was even a spec of dust in between the case door and the heatsink it would fit and id have to take the door off so make sure you do measurements

It is so quiet, at times I have to look in my case to make sure its still working. For cooling just as good as water cooling at the same price, I would recommend just grabbing this thing, as long as you have enough space in your case.

Its a big one thats for sure. I think this is the 2nd Noctua air cooler Ive bought over the last 10 years. I reused my last one on in more than one build due to Noctua providing an updated mount. For that they deserve many thanks. Other companies would probably ask you to buy another cooler. I could probably continue to use my current version in my new build, but the fans have probably reached the end of their service life.

IF YOURE OVERCOMPENSATING FOR SOMETHING AND DONT LIKE TRUCKS THIS IS THE TICKET. KEEPS YOUR CPU PRETTY COOL, TOO, WASNT EXPECTING THAT.

First point: Intel makes good processors, and they can take abuse. Your personal mileage may vary, and I’ve built AMD based systems as well. I’ve been running an Intel i7-3770K for 5+ years now. Installed it with the stock fan that ships with the CPU. Never paid any attention to it after installing it, until about 3 weeks ago.

dissipatore veramente enorme, occhio alle dimensione del case, io ho dovuto alzare leggermente la ventola frontale per non farla battere sulle ram a basso profilo e mi tocca la paratia del mio case, un corsair c70, naturalmente svolge egregiamente il suo lavoro, ho un vecchio i5 3570k occato a 4.2 e le temperature in gioco non superano i 55-56 gradi, su prime 95 non vado oltre i 66-67, la facilità di montaggio è veramente una bella cosa, era il mio primo dissipatore e lho montato in meno di 15 minuti dando solo una occhiata veloce alle istruzioni, dentro poi cè di tutto, dalla pasta termica di ottima qualità al cacciavite bello lungo per avvitare senza dover faticare, anche limpatto acustico è minimo, in idle praticamente non si sente, in full lo si percepisce a malapena, uno dei dissipatori ad aria migliori in circolazione

This cooler is absolutely incredible. I get better temps than with my corsair water cooler. This thing is THE best air cooler I have tried and Im pretty sure on the market; and it gives any water cooler a run for its money.

Extremely well built and very easy to install. Much simpler, and safer, than water cooling.

This has made my case eerily silent. Its actually kind of disturbing after being so used to hearing the fan all the time.
