> 3 dayAll the good reviews are correct. This is a quality item. I fit it on an Intel 5930 I7 chip mounted on an Asus X99-A board and stuffed in into an old Antec 900 case. In order to fit the second fan that came with it I had to mount it vertically but that works well with the big fan on top of the Antec case anyway. It keeps my system cool and quiet. Simple to mount and plenty of room for my Ripjaws memory.

> 3 dayWow what a difference! Went from stock cpu cooler and after much research and consideration made this wonderful purchase and am very very happy. Was spiking high Temps on startup and playing games and dropped temp substantially after installation. Im sure better thermal compound has some to do with it but a 30c to 40c isnt just paste. This thing with both fans and good thermal paste coverage is the bees knees.

> 3 dayNo more CPU overheating! Even overclocked. This thing exceeded my expectations and then some, and its quiet as a church mouse. I do recordings in a 9x12 room, and my PC sits in the corner; I pick up no noise now. The reason I bought this in the first place was because the stock CPU fan sounded like an F15 on takeoff. But this is THE BEST. Its no louder than the central air conditioning! Even when its hot. Installation was easier than I thought itd be too. Didnt have to take the motherboard out/apart or anything. Thank you Noctua for making my PC all the more better.

> 3 dayI am impressed, with the heatsink. Its huge, pricey but worth it if you have the cash. It replaced my corsair 240 mm water cooler. The only change in my system was this heatsink. I instantly saw the difference in cooling. They make two version of this heatsink. One that includes two 140mm fans and one that includes one 140mm fan. I accidently bought the one with two 140mm fans but I only use the one fan. I already have enough fans in my case and do not need to use the additional 140mm fan.
