> 3 dayNoctua is know for their quality products. There is a reason this cost $90. This is hands down the best air CPU cooler on the market. You absolutely get what you pay for. My CPU temps idle around 25-30C, and get no hotter than 65-70C under 100% load. Its big, its bulky, but it gets the job done.

> 3 dayThis has made my case eerily silent. Its actually kind of disturbing after being so used to hearing the fan all the time.

> 3 dayI never imagined a premium mobo like my aorus master would have some issues fitting with one of thee most popular air coolers out there, but that is exactly what happened.

Greater than one weekLet me begin by stating that this CPU cooler is massive. It covers up about 45% of my motherboard. Make sure before purchasing that your RAM is compatible with this behemoth of a cooler. Luckily, Noctua thought of this problem ahead of time and have allowed for the ability of changing where one may mount the fans on the heat sink. Just make sure that your RAM wont interfere with it at all. Also, some people, although I have never encountered it, have been able to place there side panel back on due to the sheer size of the cooler. You can make sure by checking the maximum size for your case. When you begin assembling, I can not stress enough to make sure you connect your CPU fans to the pins before you screw the heat sink down. When I was attempting to connect the CPU fans to the pins after I had screwed the cooler down it proved to be impossible and had to unscrew it. One question I constantly see all over the internet pertains to the weight of the cooler. Many people are scared due to the size and weight, they fear that it may break or bend the motherboard. In extreme instances it may, depending on the thickness of the board, and if one constantly moves their computer around. If you plan on moving your computer a lot. Make sure you take the cooler off, sudden shakes or constant vibration can actually cause the board to break. However, if you are going to keep the computer stationary, the motherboard wont break due to the cooler. Noctua has a very good mounting system so you dont need to fear it. The only real complaint I have about this cooler is the cooler of the fans. Noctua really loves their brown fans and thats what the cooler comes with. It can really look unappealing but you can fix this by just buying their black fans. But temperatures for this cooler are amazing. I have a 9700k overclocked to 5ghz and will get around 25-30 degrees idle and a max of 60 degrees while under load. I may have just won the silicon lottery but I would like to think that the cooler is doing its job. In summary, make sure this cooler isnt too big for you. Do research pertaining your parts just to be sure. If everything fits well, then go for it! This cooler is an absolute beast and will keep your CPU extremely cool!

> 3 dayFor the last 4 years, the glorious NH-D14 has been cooling down my processors (many CPU upgrades, and it still was rockng) but I had wanted to upgrade to NH-D15 for quite some time now. It is hard to get the feeling that there has been a big improvement, since the performance of the NH-D14 with dual NF-F12 is just spectacular. I am currently planning on using the NF-F12s in this cooler too... but I am giving the NF-A15s a chance to impress me. I like the silent operation thou... So far, the temps have dropped around 2 degrees (C) when compared to my old Noctua cooler. Amazons delivery time (Amazon Prime, mind you), is second to none. I have an issue with this thou... The rubber mountings that are supposed to be included with this cooler, where nothing to be found (neither were the case screws) I went to the help page and found no way to raise a complaint. All the options I have are, returning the whole thing (which I dont want to do, since the cooler is already installed on my CPU) or ask for a refund (which I dont want either). Its kind of odd that I dont have an option to claim the missing pieces on my kit, without having to send the entire thing back.

> 3 dayPaired it up with a i9 9900k and keeps my temps right around 80c not a bad investment for air cooling!

> 3 dayKeeps my 5800x at ~76C° under full load while not blowing my eardrums out. One thing to keep in mind is that this is a really big cooler, it is about 1cm away from hitting the tempered glass panel of my Bequiet Pure Base 500. Would definitely recommend

21-11-2024Completely quiet and extremely effective at cooling. I would recommend this over any comparable water cooling system. Its cheaper, cools better and is easier to install.
