so far...I love this fan. its keeps my LGA 1700, 13th....cool.

I have a Ryzen 9 5900x this doesnt really get the job done on that CPU. I have no idea why the reviews say this thing is quiet, even at 80% Fan speed I could hear the fans going even more than my GPU fans.

I have this cooling a 5900x. Idle at 30-40 degrees, max of 70 under load which i find pretty impressive.

While not as flashy as the AMD Wraith Prism, this Fan really lived up to the hype. Reason I upgraded was I was annoyed by the constant throttling of the wraith fan which would keep my AMD Ryzen 9 3900X below 58 C, I just got tired of the constant fan throttling since my case sits on my desk. I tried to adjust the fan curves in BIOS but that didnt help. Wraith prism was just an adequate design that did its job. It thought about water coolers, but never dealt with them before and was not ready to commit to that, which would be a bit more work to setup. After reading the reviews, I thought Id give this a try and go from there.

Was baught for Ryzen 7900X, but top CPUs of the 7000 series of AMD is too HOT for this cooler. 95C thermal limit after 3-4 seconds at full load, but frequencies holds around 5,2 GHz - a little bit closer to factory 5,3GHz, but not anough . I recommend NH-D15 or AIO.

Whoopsie. I was idling at around 38C until I realized I had the fans blowing the wrong way. Now idling at 28C on my hottest core. Intel 12600k CPU (Yes, it comes with the LGA1700 mounting hardware, and the best instructions in the biz). Comes with a small optional cable that is supposed to somehow make the fans run quieter (but possibly lower performance) that I havent tried yet, but its running pretty quiet without it.

This thing works!!! Better (lower temps) and Quieter than my old CPU cooler. No RAM restrictions.

I installed this cooler in a new computer build in April of 2022. I made sure to buy the black one since I didnt want the brown one in my completely no-windows case. Because reasons. Mostly, I didnt want to see brown fans every time I opened the case to clean it. Based on other reviews, Im not the only person who feels this way. I digress. The install was straightforward (although there are quite a number of steps compared to the old snap on coolers).
