Greater than one weekNo CPU overheating and barely any noise. Get ready though, it’s HUGE.

> 3 dayBought this cooler for my daughters PC, we were upgrading from an i5 (stock cooler) to an i9 with this bad boy. Went to install the new processor and this cooler and the PC would NOT boot! I thought I had messed something up, went through the whole install again and same result.

> 3 dayAs title, there is not enough room for 2 memory sticks on the motherboard if you want to keep both the fans on; U12S might be a better option

> 3 dayBeware! I was obliged to install only the outake fan because of the very big heatsink on dominator DDR5 platinum. I’m still more than happy with the performance so far, at max load on i7 12700k (4.8ghz) still dont goes over 75c on a very hot day, with a little tweak to the temp/fan speed obviously. Noted that i have 2 outake fan top and rear right next to the heatsink so i think it compensate for the missing pushing fan. My case is a NZXT h510 flow.

> 3 dayBought this to replace a 1 year old AIO liquid cooler that started overheating for no apparent reason, I decided to go back to air cooling and obviously went for Noctua.

> 3 dayFrom what I’ve heard the 12 gen cpus run really hot and this has no problem cooling my cpu 33-40c idle and while gaming 50-67c so if you’re thinking about buying this I would.

08-04-2025It works very similarly to D15S on 12700K but it is a lot smaller and better looking and comes with two flagship NF-A12x25 fans that cost $44 each. I am not worried that this would bend the board and break off during movement either. It feels much more stable because of its size. I think most people should skip D15/D15s and buy this instead. The installation is also easier. I also had a chance to try Scythe Fuma 2 Rev B which cost almost half as much. It is similar in size and performs well but not good enough for 12700K imo. It was definitely running hotter during benchmarks. But if you want to save on cost, I would recommend that, not D15S. This is not twice as good as Fuma 2 overall, more like 20% better. Overall I think the heatsink itself is not anything special, its the 2x NF-A12x25s that make it work. I think if you buy two of those and put them on a cheaper tower cooler, it would perform similarly. Most of the money here is going to those two fans.

10-04-2025Lo uso con un 13600k y anda perfecto. Solamente configurar bien la curva de temperatura en la BIOS para sacarle buen rendimiento al procesador. Hay que encontrar el punto de la curva de enfriamiento y se convierte en una bestia.

> 3 dayI know its been a few months since I installed this Bad Boy. Im very impressed with this air cooled fan. & Its Very Very Quiet. Only issue i have is that now I cant close the side panel, because the fan it self sticks out about a quarter inch (1/4). But its OK. I got rid of the originally Noisy fan that this ROG G15CE came with. My gaming rig wouldnt restart before because it was getting too HOT. System was overheating bad. About 85+ Degrees. My RTX3080 was getting too hot also. Now its stable at about 40-50 degrees while playing battlefield or diablo (for hours). I Love it. We got a winner here. Thank you Noctua. :) A+
