> 3 dayFor what you pay for this cooler, decent is not the standard when it comes to AM5 7000 series. 7900x to be exact. Im sure if youre running AM4 or last Gen Intel this is a great cooler its probably the best 120mm cooler for the situation. If youre running higher 7000 series CPUs spent that $120 towards a decent 360+mm aio and youll be just fine. I settled with a 420mm AIO, best move I made.

> 3 dayI upgraded from a ryzen5 1600 with wraith cooler to a ryzen 7 5800x. The wraith can be used but doesn’t keep temps as low as other options. Install was very easy especially if i have AMD as it required being able to use the existing mounting equipment. For $100 its bulky and quiet, no LEDS but does the job. Could spend $130-$200 on liquid cooled options. Worked for me and my budget and needs.

Greater than one weekPerformance on par with a 240 AIO but way quieter, and super simple installation on AM4 considering most AIO use the same pump and installation which can be annoying. Though you can buy an addon to not make it so bad. This however, is just plug and play. Solid black brings the system uniformity and with the chromax customization can tkae it even further. Highly recommended if you want a highly compatible Tower Cooler without it being so massive.

Greater than one weekThis replaced an Enermax AIO for my 12900K that failed 6 months after purchase. CPU temps were reaching 100C at idle and was throttling back to prevent damage. Ordered this and it came overnight. I installed it immediately, fired it up, and idle CPU temps are now 10c above ambient. Full usage during gaming is running mid 50c. This thing is every bit as good as the professional reviews say it is. I should have stuck with my instincts when I first built my new rig but wanted to try something different with an AIO. Hard to beat Noctua.

> 3 dayEs muy fácil de montar, incluso alguien sin experiencia en montar este tipo de coolers lo podría hacer. Tal vez el nivel de ruido sea un poco mas alto del esperado, y las temperaturas tampoco bajan demasiado. Eso si no llega demasiado alto ni en tareas demandantes, con un Ryzen 7 3700x la máxima temperatura ha sido 67 grados centígrados.

> 3 dayIm running a Ryzen 5800x in a cooler master nr200p with a panel extension bracket for the glass panel. Theres a ventus rtx 3080 sitting right underneath this cooler. The NH-U12A chromax.black is set in the intake configuration with 2 top lian li unifan sl120 fans for exhaust and 2 arctic p12 pwm slim fans for intake at the bottom. My pbo boost settings are PPT 125, TDC 82, EDC 130 , with frequency curves set with 2 best cores at -15 and all other cores at -30. Running cinebench 23, I have all cores at 4.625 and max temp never went above 79C. The fan curve was set to around 1750rpm at max above 75C. It idles around 37C. A week before I got this cooler, I tried the thermalright peerless assassin 120A. Its a nice svelte yet beefy dual tower cooler. I used lian li unifans on that instead of the stock ones. Unifans are rates at 2.50 H2O/, stock only had static pressure of 1.5 H20/ so I didnt even bother with them. I also used noctuas h2 thermal paste for both of these coolers. With the same pbo settings, in Cinebench 23, it had all cores at 4.5ghz and a max temp of 82C. Unifans were also set to 1750 rpm. The unifans were much louder at even 1500 rpms than the noctua fans at full blast. I was perfectly fine with the thermalright. Unifans looked really nice on it and putting 1 fan in the back instead of the front allowed me to still see the Corsair platinum dominator ram and performance was decent enough for this CPU in a sff case. But I was one of those who were waiting on the NH-U12A chromax.black for 6 months. So when it came out a week later, I just had to check it out. Im so glad I did. It is so much quieter, temperature drops down way quicker and idles 6C cooler. I shouldve tried the noctua fans on the thermalright heatsink but didnt real think about it. But considering the $46 thermalright price and $60 for the Unifans, youre right in the area of the NH-U12A chromax.black anyway. This cooler was worth the wait and the hype is real. Highly recommend.
