Noctua NH-U12A chromax.Black, 120mm Single-Tower CPU Cooler (Black)

Title says it all. This tiny thing beats both the 360mm Kraken and H150i that I had on my 13900K AND it simplifies my build by requiring no software.

I installed this cooler in a new computer build in April of 2022. I made sure to buy the black one since I didnt want the brown one in my completely no-windows case. Because reasons. Mostly, I didnt want to see brown fans every time I opened the case to clean it. Based on other reviews, Im not the only person who feels this way. I digress. The install was straightforward (although there are quite a number of steps compared to the old snap on coolers). Once inside the case, the cooler is whisper quiet and takes good care of my i7-12700K processor, even under load. A few things to note:

Shipping was fast. Once i got the product it was wrapped in an Amazon box, then the original package.

Beast of an air cooler and nearly silent, rarely if ever hesr it ramp up a bit. Temps stay around 39c normally and gaming around 56c to 60c max. Im running a 5800x and this is by far the best air cooler I have ever owned.

Bought an AIO and it lasted less than a year. Installed this and I am so happy with it. Sleek, powerful, and quiet. Keeps my Ryzen 5600x at a cool 65°c under load and it is quiet!!

Impeccable performance, inaudible operation. Arguably the best smaller form factor air cooler on the market.

works amazing keeps Temps under control. I was running idol at 40 to 45 and when gaming 89 to 99 on my old cooler. but after installing this cooler now my pc is running 30 to 33 idol and 50 to 56 wail gaming. instalation is easy and great instruction. would recommend

I run my PC all day for and then game at night. This cooler exceeds all expectations in keeping my 12700K CPU temperatures low. I idle between 21 and 25 degrees, which is a couple degrees above ambient temperature, and Ive never pushed the cpu temp past 42 even while gaming in 4k. I also have a full case of Lian Li V2s circulating air. I got the heat sink cover for it which was sold separately. Overall, Im super impressed with the performance of this air cooler.
