Noctua NH-U12S chromax.Black, 120mm Single-Tower CPU Cooler (Black)

Paid $80 and only half of the bracket kit was included. Wasn’t even one full kit for either AMD or Intel, it was just bits and pieces of both kits. So guess I’ll go buy some brackets.

Brought this for a Ryzen 5 3600. Out of the box I was surprised by the quality and accessories that came with it. Extremely easy setup, didnt even need to remove my motherboard, GPU, or remove anything from my case, except my stock cooling fan. And you really see how good this cooler is when temps start to rise because it keeps the CPU cool with very little noise. Best cooler Ive purchased so far.

This is hands down the best CPU cooler I could have asked for! It was not that hard to install and my temps have gone down significantly! I was using the stock cooler for ryzen 5 3600 and I was getting temps around 55-65 with just being on zoom and having a word doc open. Now on idle I am around 34-40 degrees. I even played msfs2020 and lingered around 60-70 degrees! My opinion do not get an AIO Get this instead!

Me costo algo instlarlo debido a mi inexperiencia, pero lo recomiendo. La temperatura bajo 30 grados aprox a diferencia del cpu de stock que tenia mi ryzen 5600x, lo recomiendo usar junto con otro ventilador para la salida del aire.

This is an excellent cooler that works well and provides good clearance for getting to the RAM on an AMD motherboard. We had an installation issue with an AMD AM4 socket that another reviewer noted. If you use the gray standoffs as stated in the instructions, you cannot get the threaded barrels started on the threaded posts. We contacted Noctua and they just said to use a bigger screwdriver. With the white standoffs, the installation went smoothly. There is only a 1 mm difference in length between the taller white standoffs and the gray standoffs. The spring-loaded barrels have at least 3 mm or 4 mm play, so the extra 1 mm for the standoff does not make a difference. Noctua needs to fix their instruction sheet.

As a newbie computer builder I made a big mistake. I saw this same air cooler in so many lian li cases on youtube I assumed it was my best option for my lian li o11 dynamic. Yes, it is a water-cooler primary case, but so is the lian li o11, o11 Dynamic xl and o11 mini which all fit the case size.
