Noctua NH-U12S chromax.Black, 120mm Single-Tower CPU Cooler (Black)

I installed this on an ASRock Z490M-ITX/AC LGA1200 using the LGA115X mounting instructions as the holes are identical but it appears future LGA1200 boards MAY have preinstalled threaded mount guessing by the vague instructions. Vastly quieter and better than the Intel push pin design with I7 chip that basically almost falls off and is noisy. I will upgrade the 140MM case fan now too as it is noisest part of system always running. It was a snug fit and the parts are well thought out overall. I dont overclock so the 120mm single fan design is perfect or slightly overkill for ITX snug case.

Dieser Kühler kam auf mein Asus Mainboard mit dem neuen i710700K. Er kühlt den Prozessor bei 25°C Raumtemperatur im Idle auf ca. 30°C und im Spielbetrieb geht er nicht über 65°C. Das ist finde ich für mein altes Gehäuse mit Netzteil ohne Kabelmanagement ein sehr erstaunlicher Wert. Hatte anfangs Bedenken, da ja viele schreiben dass die 10te Generation der I7 sehr heiß werden. Kann ich nicht bestätigen.

I had to replace a stock Intel for my i7-4790k, I now its old, but I was hitting between 90-100C when firing up a game and around 60C idle so I discovered my cooler was probably shot. I bought this after reading really good reviews. I wasnt sure it would fit, but Im glad I got the 120mm instead of the 150, plus I like the all black heatsink look. I went from 60C idle to 40C and around 60C under full load. I am overclocking using XMP from 4.0 to 4.4Ghz. This definitely sold me and Ill be looking at these guys for my next cooling purchase.

This cooler was easy to install, is super quiet, and seems to be efficient.

Flat out amazing. Easy to install, reliable, and quite even under 100% load for long duration. Replaced an EVGA 240mm all in one cooler with this because the water pump was dying and this is amazing so far

Excellent cooler, and easy installation after watching a YouTube video. Bought to replace a noisy Intel stock cooler. I have a non-OC CPU and I am getting idle temps in the high 20’s (C). Temps don’t crack 60° under load for gaming. Amazing cooler, and much more peace of mind when compared to liquid coolers. Why bother with liquid running around in your PC for -3 degree difference? The future is here and it’s air cooled.

Lowered both idle and gaming temps by 20c on my r5 3600 while maintaining low noise level

Setting the motherboard up for the mounting of this cooler was incredibly simple and easy to do, it is best to do it out of your case, but even if its in the case, having it on its side will make it pretty easy. The fan is very quiet and even at 70% is barely audible compared the 3 Phanteks fans I have that came with my P400A, I plan on eventually swapping those to their new NF-A12x25 Chromax.
