> 3 dayAll in all great cooler. At first I didnt believe all the hype about Noctua but I think Im going to be a loyal customer now. I was looking to replace the stock cooler on my Ryzen 5 3600 as it was just running a bit too hot with the stock cooler getting to 70c+ and staying there after an hour or two of gameplay or heavy work load. The install of this cooler was extremely simple compared to some of the beefy tower coolers I bought in the past. After the install the ryzen 5 3600 doesnt go past 60c underload if it does its quick put back to 50c range within seconds. The fan is extremely quiet and feels very high quality. The build of the cooler is solid. However I did bend one of the fins by accident (my fault I think though as the fan clips were putting up a fight) nothing major though. Im glad noctua finally made an all black cooler it looks great in my build. They give you everything you need (thermal paste, etc) for the install. You will need the AM4 original backplate that came with your mobo however.

> 3 dayExcelente cpu cooler buscaba algo super silencioso que me diera la sensación de que no esté encendida y este lo cumple el único problema que encontré fue que el atornillador de barra que viene se desgasta rápidamente. Muy fácil de instalar, se adhiere y la pasta de muy buena calidad. Fácil control del RPM y buen enfriamiento del CPU.

> 3 dayI was running an NZXT M22 Kraken liquid-cooled system on my ROG Strix motherboard with i5-8600k chip and RTX 2060. Not overclocked, playing games like Apex Legends, DOTA 2, COD Warzone, and Black Desert. I was seeing temperatures at idle, no load around 30 to 35 degrees C. After playing any one of these games for about 30 minutes, temps would exceed 80 and even go above 90 while in-game. Everyone said try re-seating your thermal paste, reset your bios to default etc. Did both of those things with little to no changes; thermal paste was Kryonaut grizzly by the way. So I start looking at Noctua air coolers. Considered getting the NH-D15 (the incredibly large 140mm cooler) but was concerned about fitment on the MB around the RAM sets. Found the NH-U12S in sexy black. Kudos to all the previous folks that wrote positive reviews about it, because I placed nearly all my faith in those reviews. Ordered it, and could not be happier. Temperature at idle is now high 20s; gaming under load for over an hour produced temps never exceeding 67. And because it runs cooler, the fans in my tower dont kick into overdrive, making gaming a quieter, more pleasant experience. These are the pros.

> 3 daythe ramp up fan speed and fall is more noticeable then my stock AMD cooler but my performance has improved in 3d mark and looks good so still worth the money in my opinion

> 3 dayUsed and using these on i7-4770K, i7-6700K, i7-8700K, i7-9700K in original configuration and on i9-10900K with a second identical Noctua fan attached for a push-pull configuration. Superb packaging and accesories set, very easy to install right, absolutely great quality overall. Efficient and quiet cooling.

> 3 dayGot this to replace an AIO that started to fail after a few months. Works way better than it and has a lot less noise. Gets me to low 30s (C) at idle and only mid 60s (C) max in higher end games.

> 3 daySlapped this baby onto a Ryzen 5 5600x, replacing the stock cooler. System is mounted inside a Corsair 5000D Airflow case with 3x120mm intake on front and 3x120mm exhaust on top all at 1300rpm and 26CFM, 0.89 mmH2O. Room ambient ~74F. Idle dropped from 54C down to 32C. Under load dropped from 81C down to 59C. Included quality thermal paste. Easy install. Well constructed. Virtually inaudible. Worth every penny IMHO. If youre shopping for an aftermarket cooler I would strongly suggest you place this one on your short list.
