I love this product - vegetarian and a great price. I take this daily to prevent cold sores. If you are looking for lysine for the same reason, please try it! I was getting cold sores weekly and that was unacceptable to me. Im a stressed out person and I get cold sores when stressed, so taking lysine daily and staying hydrated have changed my life! Highly recommended.

i was taking another brand but chose this bc i heard that the one i was using before was made of corn and i do not like taking supplements that have corn. its very inflammatory. the pills were smaller and its easy to swallow. i have cold sores and i take this right after i feel that tingle on my lips. i prob take about 4 a day when it i feel it starting and bc of the lysine - it goes away in a day or two. i couldnt function without it. during the rest of the month i usually take just one a day.

I have not had a cold for 5 years, since I started taking this.

I much prefer the capsules but I forgot that I once ordered the wrong kind and accidentally re-ordered them. They are fine, but the capsules are a little easier to swallow and I think they work better (maybe easier for the body to absorb).

I have been taking Lysine for many years. This product is the same, but less expensive than most. The capsules are fairly large, but I have no difficulty swallowing them.

L-lysine is my go to for any mouth issues whatsoever and this stuff helped me through a late-in-life removal of tonsils and follow up throat treatments. Putting this on subscription to make sure there is always some around.

I have been taking L-Lysine for almost 2 years and I have gone from having the most horrible cold sores above my lip (several times a year, that last for weeks no matter what I put on it.) to not having any, well I did have one, but it was very small and was gone within 3 days. I read about this and gave it a try and SOOOOOOOO glad I did. Hope you have the same miracle Ive had.

I am incredibly prone to cold sores (especially during the start of a cycle - because yes Im that lucky.) I dont just get a tiny little cold sore thats a minor irritation. These suckers spread across my entire lip, they itch like mad crazy, blister like someone lit my face on fire and take a good 10+ days to heal. Then one of my friends mentioned that taking Lysine helps reduce the duration of time it takes for a cold sore to go away. So when Id get one, Id pound the lysine and sure enough, the cold sore would either go away or shrink down to a tiny little thing that was barely noticeable. Once I realized it was working, I decided to take Lysine regularly, and I no longer get cold sores. YAY!

I frequently get a cold sore. I am now using this as a preventive measure for a while. It was suggested by a pharmacist for this reason. Small price to pay for a product that helps with that annoying problem!!
