After purchasing this product, you are required to provide a credit card number and signup for auto renewal. Failure to complete these 2 steps and the product will not install on your pc. The current renewal rate is approximately twice what you paid for this product. This is definitely a bait and switch scheme, purchase the product once at a reasonable price and they will rip you off for as long as you own your pc. “Make a fool of me once, shame on you, there is no way you will make a fool of me again”.

I found out after having McAfee that it doesnt matter you will still be infected and the person that I talked to tried to talk me into $800 of service for something I didnt need.

When I tried to install this Mcafee product that I purchased and typed in the activation code it would not work. After several tries and double checking that I had entered the activation code correctly, I had to call Macfee support. I read them the number and they said the activation code was 2 letters short. I had to send them copy of my receipt as well as copy of my activation code card that was sent to me via US mail. They then had to download me a link so I could activate the subscription that I purchased through Amazon. All this took approximately a hour of my time which I was not pleased having to stay on the phone for that length of time.

Much cheaper than buying directly from mcafee. Easy to install

Every other day the Viewer would pop-up, freeze, and show a blank screen so you couldnt see whether it was blocking or allowing internet traffic and from whom. Totally defeats the purpose of protecting your computer... lol smh Ive loved McAfee for over 20 years, but sheesh. It took 3 months of updating to stop doing this. And I noticed when I wiped the hard drive clean and had to re-install McAfee, it went right back to the blank viewer appearing whenever an app wanted to access the internet. Youd think one update would fix this, but nope. Took another month of multiple updates. Maybe the 2023 version is fixed? I hope so because last years version was terrible.

I like the price of this keycode card rather than what they want to charge for continuing the service. It has some features I like, scans for updates, cleaning, as well as internet security.

For years I was a Norton Guy and then I swapped to McAfee due to a holiday promotion on the product, and I was totally sold (hook, line, sinker) from that point on. My employer is a huge company, and it also swapped from Norton to McAfee. That helped confirm my decision even more. It works great in tandem with Malwarebytes, and my online activity is extremely secure, giving me minimal concern of having my entire computer system screwed up. The scheduling of scans is easy, and the reporting is helpful and accurate. I find it VERY easy to recommend this product to others, and even though I just completed my annual renewal, Ive already purchased for 2020. Im that pleased. Thanks, McAfee!!

Hate auto renewal...so gave this a try. Easy to install. DID not need or use tech support so cant really rate them. Love the value.
