> 3 dayOpening letters, packages or do some DIY projects. It has a really good grip and the size like a pen. For thicker materials you might need a more massive version but OLFA is defenitely a good brand to go when buying a utility knife.

> 3 dayI bought a couple of these and they just arrived. They are by far the best quality utility knives I have come across. In the past Ive had cheap little plastic ones, but these, for a little extra money, are far superior in quality. The grip is nice and the action of moving the blade is very precise. The blade moves nicely and locks firmly in place and then retracts just as smoothly. Its a tiny little thing that gets used only on occasion (mostly to open boxes from Amazon), but its so rare to be pleasantly surprised by the quality of an inexpensive product that I just had to give it a review. 5 stars all the way. A little more expensive than the cheapies, but in this case you get more than what you pay for. Im ordering more to give to friends - who think Im nuts to be excited about a $6 utility knife.

> 3 dayThe handle is very good with a lot of grip, it doesnt slip in your hands. Good balance and feel. The auto lock blade is very secure and will not slip.

> 3 dayWe love these for opening boxes and have them everywhere in the house. Easy to hold, easy to find, and easy to break off the end of the blade when it becomes dull.

Greater than one weekThis is so much more comfortable in the hand than the regular cutters. To me, its worth the extra money for the more ergonomic model if you are going to be using it often.

> 3 dayAwesome utility blade.... Light, small yet sturdy. Great design allows user to break off end pieces as the cutting edge surface gets dull. I also purchased extra blades for future use. Great for when you dont want to mess up the edge on your nice pocket knife. Made in Japan.

> 3 dayI need a small utility knife often and had been using cheap ones. These are a big improvement. Well made, with a smooth but positive action and a rubber grip that helps prevent slipping. You dont want a knife that slips in your hand. More than worth the price.

Greater than one weekThis has exactly the grip and the hand weight that I like. Its not flimsy but neither is it bulky like some box cutters. I have this in my garage, in my desk, in the kitchen, and at the office. They are inexpensive and just too handy not to have around. (Dont judge me.)
