OLFA 9mm Precision Utility Knife (XA-1) - Multi-Purpose Retractable Precision Knife w/ Fiberglass Reinforced Handle & Snap-Off Blade

I bought this based on a recommendation online. I like my OLFA rotary cutters, and so knew it was a quality brand. It may sound silly, but it would have been nice for them to have some basic instructions on the back of the package. Ive never used these snap off blades and had to go to youtube to see how to use them safely.

I use this knife and two other OLFA knives to cut leather. Best thing around. Plus no stroping or sharpening required. The padded grips allow a tight hold and the smaller knife is great for trimming or tight curves.

I use this little knife to carve foam. Foam requires a very sharp knife to make clean cuts. This little baby does the trick!

I wish it had a rubber tip where the blade rests. Im going to be cutting vynil on cars and being able to press the knife on car body line gaps would make things easier, but otherwise a fine knife.

This is the good one. Good materials, good handgrip. A good Japanese product.

These knives are excellent examples of something that is made and works very well. It fits my (and my wifes) hand very well, is easy to grip and holds the blade securely so that it cuts very accurately. Owning one of these spoiled me and I havent used the cheap $2 hardware store version since.

Sharp, durable, safe, comfortable to use, and everlasting. Replaced my old box cutter that I used for 5+ years. This should last two times the old one. Its well worth the price. Very high quality, made from OLFA.

I used it for cutting leather, and it worked great! The blade is very sharp and last for a long time! Will buy more replacement blades!

Started using Olfa products after my son received one in his architecture kit in college. Absolutely the best on the market. They make a variety of cutters (I own four) and Ive never found their equal. I threw the other brands away once I found Olfa. Precision and quality make this cutter top-notch! Highly recommend!
