> 3 dayThis was amazing and I cant wait to continue to use it. I will say I went full force this first time and my gums are paying the price people. As well as some teeth sensitivity. Do not for the love of cats dispense half of the syringe in each tray. Its way too much and once it gets on your gums it burns. Well, it burned me anyways and temporarily made the areas where the gel made contact with my gums white. It didnt help that I had just gotten my teeth cleaned and had open scrapes due to the teeth cleaning. So follow others suggestions of dispensing very small dots. It will also last longer. So no complaints just my own user error there. Less is more in this case for sure.

> 3 dayYou need to have a tray or a retainer to use the gel. Use only a minute amount because it will irritate your gum if you use too much. It does make your teeth sensitive, so I am only using it once/week. My teeth was pretty white to start with but this gel help rid of surface stains. I use one syringe for 3 whitening sessions, so it’s not a bad deal. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayBuyer beware! This stuff is extremely strong! (I purchased the trays with this product as well...) I tried this whitening gel yesterday and was really upset. As soon as it made contact with my gums it immediately gave me ulcers. My gums turned extremely white and I could not get it off quick enough. It was literally burning my gums around my teeth. A little bit got on my upper lip and tip of tongue as I tried rinsing my mouth and my upper lip actually burnt so bad it started to bleed a bit. Please, whatever you do, get one of those mouth opening devices that some of the other teeth whitening systems come with. Like the ones the dentists use to hold back your lips and expose only your teeth. Then simply paint the gel on your teeth with a Q-tip. Do not make contact with your gums, lips, tongue, etc. Your teeth will be a bit sensitive immediately upon application. Do not leave the gel on for more than 30 minutes. Make sure to repeat this the next day or so. Do not do more than one treatment in a day. This may cause extreme sensitivity to your teeth and could cause damage in my opinion. In any case, my teeth are whiter - I give it that. My gums were pink again the next morning but please be careful with this stuff. It is much stronger than the OTC stuff and should be dealt with carefully. I do not recommend the moldable trays since you can not keep the gel from touching your gums when you insert them. As mentioned, one of the mouth spreaders (lack of a better or correct word) like the dentists use is a much better device. If you are looking for something to give you istant results, this is your stuff. But be careful! Make sure you have the time to apply appropriately and remove properly.

> 3 dayI paired this with a blue light that I have previously used with teeth whitening and it worked great!! I only applied for 10 min and could instantly tell the difference after ONE USE!!! I will exclusively use this product moving forward. The only somewhat downside it that the gel is very sticky but nothing too bad.

Greater than one weekI have used several whitening products over the years, and this is the best one I have found! I love the fact that you dont have to leave it in very long (or overnight) AND it doesnt cause the gum sensitivity that Ive experienced with other products. I typically use it once every 3 - 4 weeks (unless I want a quick refresh for a special event). Im drink 1 - 2 cups of coffee daily, and I also enjoy red wine, and this product keeps my teeth looking great. The consistency is thick, which means it stays in my whitening trays and doesnt ooze out around the edges. (I rated easy to use as a 4 because you need to take a bit of care putting the product in your trays because it is thicker than many whiteners, but its worth it.) I have custom-fit whitening trays (that I got from my dentist years ago for another whitening product), and they work perfectly with this product. I keep this products around at all times -- Im a big fan!

Greater than one weekThis product has been recommended by my dentist through his office. I have used in before and found it to be easy to use.

> 3 dayThis stuff works well and I wanted to give people a tip on how to get rid of tooth sensitivity. The reason your teeth get sensitive or hurt is because the whitening removes the minerals from the enamel. My sensitivity was extreme. Id get those infamous zingers even with crest whitestrips. There was no way I was going to try something this strong. I ended up getting invisalign and whitening is highly recommended to make the final results that much better so my dentist told me how to stop the pain. You need a high quality toothpaste that will remineralize your teeth. I bought fluoridex sensitivity relief from my dentist. I believe sensodyne pronamel probably will as well since its marketed for remineralizing. I would compare the active ingredients or try to get the fluoridex. After you do the opalescense treatment then immediately put the toothpaste in the trays and leave that on your teeth for 30 minutes as well. This will remineralize your teeth. I have zero sensitivity now when I do the whitening treatments.

> 3 dayThis product truly does work and whitens your teeth very quickly! People are CONSTANTLY complimenting my smile and asking me how I keep my teeth so white. Mind you, I am a smoker and I drink coffee and tea all day long. I initially paid $400 at my dentist to get the professional trays that are a mold of my teeth and 8 syringes of this stuff. When used properly, it should last you a *minimum* of 2 months after DAILY use. It goes a long way, but I didnt realize how badly I was being ripped off! After finding it here on Amazon for this price, I was ecstatic! I immediately ordered it and have been using it since. Theres absolutely no difference between this one and the one my dentist gave me, so I know its the real deal. The only downside of this is that just like with most whitening solutions, your teeth do feel sensitive for a day or so after using. There were a couple of times I fell asleep with the mouth trays still on, and woke up in the morning to SEVERE sensitivity- but that was my fault since youre only supposed to leave it on for one hour. However, the super bad sensitivity only lasted one day. Also, dont use too much to where its oozing out onto your gums because it burns like hell when it sits on your gums for a while! (Use only a tiny drop per tooth.) I got a remineralization gel here on Amazon, which is supposed to help with the sensitivity post-bleaching and its made a world of a difference! As for the opalescence, I apply a small dot of the bleach closer to the bottom of each tooth on the tray that touches the front side of my teeth (so that it doesnt touch my gums when it spreads), and leave it on for about 1 hour before bedtime. I do it every night until I get the results I want, and then just maintain by using it for a 3-4 days in a row each month. (Thats just my personal preference though, since like I mentioned, I smoke and drink tea and coffee every day so my teeth get stained rather quickly). Anyway, I can absolutely say that I truly do recommend opalescence to anyone who needs their teeth whitened. It WILL work, just remember that a little goes a long way!
