> 3 dayIdk what everyone is smoking saying this product is fake or doesn’t work or don’t trust it yada yada. I was given this by my dentist after my Invisalign treatment with specific directions for use. Paint it on each tooth, with a small paintbrush I use a cotton swab it works just fine, more specifically the teeth that are visible with your natural smile, there’s no need to do molar to molar no one is going to see that. When you paint it on only go so high on the tooth not all the way to the gum line, it doesn’t surprise me that people are saying it burns your gums when it’s oozing out with how much people think they need. 1. It’s a chemical for teeth whitening and is not designed to last on your gums 2. It’s a high concentration of 35% please use common sense and have a little discretion. A little goes a long way and when you put the trays on it’ll spread. Use a cotton swab to wipe the gum line if you so happen to have extra ooze out. Leave it on for 30 minutes the product description says 60 minutes but being that the concentration is higher it could cause damage to your enamel with prolonged use. My dentist said use it for 14 days once a day. To clarify I was given this exact product by my dentist, and am purchasing more to reuse. It’s not fake and the actual company ships it how it comes. My teeth were noticeable whiter after only 5 days of use and completing the 14 days will yield good results. Don’t be fooled by all these jaded reviews because of user error, give it a try and use it properly and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

> 3 dayThese whiten more in one 45 minute session than a week of using those white strips! It can burn if too much is used and it gets on my gums, but I remedy that by applying the gel to the bottom of my retainer, and the products coats my teeth from the bottom up after I insert my retainer. I’m on my second purchase (5th tube) and I can’t see myself ever going back to white strips!

> 3 dayBuyer beware! This stuff is extremely strong! (I purchased the trays with this product as well...) I tried this whitening gel yesterday and was really upset. As soon as it made contact with my gums it immediately gave me ulcers. My gums turned extremely white and I could not get it off quick enough. It was literally burning my gums around my teeth. A little bit got on my upper lip and tip of tongue as I tried rinsing my mouth and my upper lip actually burnt so bad it started to bleed a bit. Please, whatever you do, get one of those mouth opening devices that some of the other teeth whitening systems come with. Like the ones the dentists use to hold back your lips and expose only your teeth. Then simply paint the gel on your teeth with a Q-tip. Do not make contact with your gums, lips, tongue, etc. Your teeth will be a bit sensitive immediately upon application. Do not leave the gel on for more than 30 minutes. Make sure to repeat this the next day or so. Do not do more than one treatment in a day. This may cause extreme sensitivity to your teeth and could cause damage in my opinion. In any case, my teeth are whiter - I give it that. My gums were pink again the next morning but please be careful with this stuff. It is much stronger than the OTC stuff and should be dealt with carefully. I do not recommend the moldable trays since you can not keep the gel from touching your gums when you insert them. As mentioned, one of the mouth spreaders (lack of a better or correct word) like the dentists use is a much better device. If you are looking for something to give you istant results, this is your stuff. But be careful! Make sure you have the time to apply appropriately and remove properly.

> 3 dayWow, so Ive been dabbling with 12% carbamide peroxide gel (aka hydrogen peroxide urea or CH6N2O3) for quite some time, purchased from a different company called SmileSciences. Their product worked ... albeit slowly, giving moderate results that were noticed over 2 to 3 weeks. Additionally the SmileSciences gel was used during the night (so, 6 - 7 hours) over that 2 to 3 week span. The Opalescence PF 35% Teeth Whitening carbamide peroxide solution, however, had noticeable effect on my teeth after a _single_ 30 minute treatment (using an

> 3 dayI am using just a small drop of this in the crease of my dentist-made plastic whitening trays -- nowhere near 1/3 or 1/2 of a syringe. It will mix with saliva and move upward on the front and back of my teeth to cover all. When I take the trays off, there is still a ton of product in my mouth, like its concentrated. I originally got 16% product from the dentist, which did hardly anything. The 35% is twice as strong and intense. The instructions that came with it said to leave 35% solution on for only 30 minutes, so I dont know if its safe to leave it on for more than that. Stick to milk and white foods after using for at least 2 weeks - the rest of your life is even better so you dont have to go through this whitening torture again. I read that whiteners will remove the enamel temporarily, exposing the tooth dentin. Dark foods and drinks can soak into the dentin tubules, causing the tooth to turn dark permanently. I witnessed this happening to my own tooth, as a temporary crown was placed on my tooth while the student-dentist (Baylor Dental College) took forever (2 months) to make the permanent one. The temporary crown was prone to coming off and I saw how my precious tooth darkened over time while I was waiting for this student to make the permanent crown. I questioned her about it and she said she expected that it would turn dark because the took underneath the temporary crown wasnt sealed completely. Anyway, I assume that enamel is removed by using strong whitening products and the tooth will remain yellow if you drink coffee right afterwards. I read a post by a dentist that stated the enamel will return, after whitening, by the saliva in our mouth. Personally, Im having a hard time getting my teeth nice and white, as I hoped for with the Opalescence and they are slightly yellow after 8 syringes of the 16% and 3 syringes of the 35% -- much better than before, but definitely not The Rock white.

> 3 dayThis product truly does work and whitens your teeth very quickly! People are CONSTANTLY complimenting my smile and asking me how I keep my teeth so white. Mind you, I am a smoker and I drink coffee and tea all day long. I initially paid $400 at my dentist to get the professional trays that are a mold of my teeth and 8 syringes of this stuff. When used properly, it should last you a *minimum* of 2 months after DAILY use. It goes a long way, but I didnt realize how badly I was being ripped off! After finding it here on Amazon for this price, I was ecstatic! I immediately ordered it and have been using it since. Theres absolutely no difference between this one and the one my dentist gave me, so I know its the real deal. The only downside of this is that just like with most whitening solutions, your teeth do feel sensitive for a day or so after using. There were a couple of times I fell asleep with the mouth trays still on, and woke up in the morning to SEVERE sensitivity- but that was my fault since youre only supposed to leave it on for one hour. However, the super bad sensitivity only lasted one day. Also, dont use too much to where its oozing out onto your gums because it burns like hell when it sits on your gums for a while! (Use only a tiny drop per tooth.) I got a remineralization gel here on Amazon, which is supposed to help with the sensitivity post-bleaching and its made a world of a difference! As for the opalescence, I apply a small dot of the bleach closer to the bottom of each tooth on the tray that touches the front side of my teeth (so that it doesnt touch my gums when it spreads), and leave it on for about 1 hour before bedtime. I do it every night until I get the results I want, and then just maintain by using it for a 3-4 days in a row each month. (Thats just my personal preference though, since like I mentioned, I smoke and drink tea and coffee every day so my teeth get stained rather quickly). Anyway, I can absolutely say that I truly do recommend opalescence to anyone who needs their teeth whitened. It WILL work, just remember that a little goes a long way!

> 3 dayThis works good point blank. These comments had me skeptical but I knew it was because they simply just didn’t read instructions, or have never whitened before so they don’t know how strong it can be and I’m pretty sure 35% is the strongest. So if you haven’t done those then you should stop writing bad reviews saying it’s fake ruining it for everyone else. I have retainers from having Invisalign and I put the whitener in the teeth of my tray so it won’t be on my gum line. I had gotten a whole bunch of it on my gums but I decided to let it sit there and test out if it would turn my gums white. 30 minutes later, teeth look actually pretty white considering it was a one time thing and my teeth were getting a little yellow (I used to whiten 4 years ago, I never vaped until now and I don’t drink coffee). My gum was a little irritated where the product got on my gums but it went away after a while it wasn’t unbearable. Will rebuy again!

> 3 dayI had very yellow teeth at the start of my journey. First I used opalescence trays that come with whitening in the tray and you throw it out after 30 min. They whitened only the tips of my teeth. Years later I tried in-office zoom whitening. It was an improvement but only like half a shade! They give you zoom gel to take home. That stuff is INTENSE and I would wake up at 4am with terrible pain (that product is designed to be worn overnight). Finally I tried this opalescence gel in the tube with custom-made trays I got from my dentists office, and I think I found the winner!! I sleep with this on because I dont like keeping the tray on when Im awake. My teeth are hardly sensitive at all the next morning (but are just sensitive enough that I know its working!!). TIPS: 1) dont waste gel on teeth you cant see when you smile. Dont waste it on the backs of your teeth. That way it lasts you longer. 2) get custom trays at your dentist - IT IS WORTH IT. As a cheap route, you can buy mold-able ones online that you boil and then bite into them, but I really really really recommend just getting trays made by your dentist. They can be done by an assistant not even the dentist so it shouldnt cost much 3) anyone that has said they hurt their gums made these 2 mistakes : a) not using custom made trays that specifically click in to your teeth and gums perfectly ; and b) they used too much gel. ONLY APPLY A LITTLE DAB TO THE MIDDLE OF EACH TOOTH SPACE IN YOUR TRAY AND THIS WONT HAPPEN. You will find that when you press the tray into your teeth the gel squishes outward and covers the whole tooth. DO NOT PUT A LINE OF GEL ACROSS YOUR ENTIRE TOOTH TRAY!!!! NOOOOOOO!! This is why you get it on your gums. Just put a dab in the middle of each tooth pocket!!!
