> 3 dayBrushed it on a hardwood deck, sprayed it with a simple 1 qt dispenser on a pressure treated ramp. Both look good and are holding up well after their first season near salt water in Connecticut. Follow the instructions. Always best to start with a clean surface but this has even worked on some oil, grease, and wax spots.

Greater than one weekPut this on a log cabin that I was putting off doing because it would be a PITA. It wasnt... It went perfect. No runs, or stain drips having to go back with a brush to blend in. Clean up is messy, but expected. Hudson sprayer worked like a champ, ran some laquer thinner thru it when done and used it again two weeks later. Not to smelly and looks great.

> 3 dayWe used this product to coat new log pine siding installed on our Adirondack camp. It goes on easy and says it can be recoated (if, and when needed) by spraying with a common garden sprayer. Water bounces off the siding and it looks great. Love this stuff. Also, it says it can be used on presure treated decks without waiting months to season. Expensive but well worth the cost.

19-04-2025Used on new pressure treated pine decking for dock. Sanded with 80 grit, then thoroughly cleaned each plank. Used a turkey baster to transfer to a jar or bucket after mixing thoroughly. I used the same baster to apply it to the wood, as it is very thin in consistency and easy to over-apply. Then I used a 4 chip brush to spread it over the wood. The pine absorbed two coats (applied on, waited 24 hours, applied second). Keep it dry for a few days after applications, no rain, no dew, no hose. The sun will cure the product, and the water beads up like rain on a waxed car. Much better product than Thompsons Water Seal. The medium reddish brown on pressure treated yellow pine is identical to cedar. This is transparent after application, the grain of the wood is visible.

> 3 dayApplicantion was messy as we applied it before installing a swing set. We applied it while the wood was laying on a tarp. The bottle cautions to not get the oil on concrete which can be tricky if your deck is over top of a patio. We had very little streaking, it is forgiving of drips on a way that most stains are not. It’s been on the wood installed for over a year with only slight color fading on the upper surfaces. I also like that I don’t have to sand the old material off to re-protect the wood. My dad will be using this to stain and weather treat his deck soon!

> 3 dayLiked the way it soaks in. I bought barn gray, I panicked at first, it goes on with a very green tint. I called manufacturer they said the green is the copper in the product, but it will disapate over a few days and will be correct color and it DID. Goes a long way

> 3 dayThis product looks great! My logs had weathered for 13 years and they soaked up a huge amount of material. logs that had less exposure to the elements, less so. Used a Hudson sprayer as recommend dont wast your time with a brush, per the instructions to apply to the point of refusal, not going to happen on a large scale with a brush. I was initially concerned about the oder but it was mostly gone after a few days. Get your self a large box of latex gloves and Tyvek suit or two this stuff smells like insecticide and soaks into everything ( which is a good thing)
