This product looks great! My logs had weathered for 13 years and they soaked up a huge amount of material. logs that had less exposure to the elements, less so. Used a Hudson sprayer as recommend dont wast your time with a brush, per the instructions to apply to the point of refusal, not going to happen on a large scale with a brush. I was initially concerned about the oder but it was mostly gone after a few days. Get your self a large box of latex gloves and Tyvek suit or two this stuff smells like insecticide and soaks into everything ( which is a good thing)

We have a Florida log cabin! It is beautiful! This is our second time in 5 years applying! It preserves the logs, looks good! Smells good (my opinion) and it protects from bugs as well as weather! Great stuff!

Id never used this kind of stain before, I was worried it would be too messy and troublesome; but it went on easily. The cabin I live in is quite old, from the 50s I believe, with older cement-like chinking. The cabin had to have latex paint blasted off of it from ill-informed former tenants. It got blasted down to bare wood and the oil soaked in immediately. I might have to spray again before winter to make sure it is saturated enough. I like the color, and while it stained the cement chinking as well, it looks fine. I could use chink paint to make it a solid color, but I think it would make it look TOO clean compared to the old logs. Application was as simple as buying a cheap garden sprayer from TractorSupplyCo. It renders the sprayer unusable afterwards, so dont bother buying an expensive one. I used a filtered 3M mask, I suggest you do the same to be safe. Reapplication also should be easy, no need to strip it or sand it, just spray more on when it needs it.

Product arrived crushed in and dirty, as if it was forgotten in some storage for years.

Brushed it on a hardwood deck, sprayed it with a simple 1 qt dispenser on a pressure treated ramp. Both look good and are holding up well after their first season near salt water in Connecticut. Follow the instructions. Always best to start with a clean surface but this has even worked on some oil, grease, and wax spots.
