Park Tool FR-5.2GT Cassette Lockring with Tool 12mm Pin

Just what we needed - worked great to remove our cassette.

Does as its supposed to and the color is very nice.

Great too where others were popping out w/o the pin on disc hubs

Works great, no need to try to keep in in place w the axle when loosening.

Use it on my cassette and one up EDC steer tube tool

I have to admit I was skeptical. I had a X01 cassette that didnt want to come off my Hope cassette carrier. I bought this and put it in the vice and spun the cassette and it came off easily. Maybe it was the through axle pin, maybe it was the right depth. Either way, it works for what I needed. Park Tools comes through again.

Lock ring got chewed up

worked as expected, great tool. I will get many years of use from it.

I bought this cassette lock ring tool since my older tool didnt have clearance for the axle on the newer thru-axle hubs. The FR-5.2GT has plenty of clearance and fully engaged the cassette lock ring. The center pin didnt seem necessary to line up the tool, but didnt cause any problems either.
