Park Tool FR-5.2GT Cassette Lockring with Tool 12mm Pin

Quality product. Needs a 1” tool. I used a socket. Would have preferred that it fit directly on my socket wrench.

easy to use. well designed. Not sure you need the blue guide rail, but it definitely is a snug and strong fit to take off the rear cassette.

Great tool as always from Park Tools. You can always trust the quality of Park Tools from my experience.

Ive been using old Park cassette tool for QR axles and although it works, the tool was always getting cocked sideways in the lock ring since it was made for a quick release skewer. This tool works great for my 12mm thru axles and stays nice and square to the lock ring. One note, I always used a 24mm socket with my old tool but this new requires a 1 socket, the 24mm was too small.

I wish it had proper integration with park torque wrench, I need extra socket to drive cassette tool. Otherwise perfect. Good steel, easy fit.
