> 3 dayNot as advertised. the biggest end is less than 1 inch round its shorter than stated and its bent. This would break in any practical use and it would be no good for self defense.

> 3 dayI walk with a pitbull roughly 3 miles daily. My neighborhood has changed drastically over the years and the FB page for my city is constantly post pictures of stray dogs hoping to maybe notify an owner. We were attacked the other day by a shephard mix about 60 lbs. Trying to kick it in the head while it is trying to grab my dogs throat was a bit more exercise than I was wanting. My Internet search led my to this fish whacker. I named it Billy and he now accompanies us on our walk. Has a nice smooths finish, looks like a souvineer youd pick up while camping and hopefully will scare off a dog without killing it!

Greater than one weekMy son was walking his 3 year old Weimaraner and they were both attached by 2 pit bills. It took 4 grown men to pull them off his dog, his dog laid on his back in a submission move and the pits tore into the dogs chest. $1,000 in vet bills later I looked here and found pry bars made for pits. I figured beat it with a bat, better than a gun at this point. Light and easy to carry.
