It is hard as a rock! Does not hold heat... my cats are avoiding it like a plague! What a waste of money. I got them another kind K&H Microwaveable Pet Bed Warmer, 9 L x 9 W, this one turns into liquid inside and is warm and soft for hours.

Great in the snow country when we go skiing!

Ive tried several other similar heating pads and this is still the best product. The soft gel pads eventually leak and have a funny smell that never seems to go away. The less expensive brands of the hard pads tend to warp quickly and / or dont hold heat as long.

Seem to work well. We use these in an outdoor rabbit hutch on cold nights (in the teens). Our bunnies are bedded down with about 5 inches of straw in an insulated nesting box and these give me peace of mind. The bunnies are doing great!

I love these things. I have collected 9 over the years. This winter In MD. has been terribly cold. I wouldnt want to be without these ever again. My cats love them.

We use these at my veterinary clinic. So far the puppies have not chewed them up. And with 10 min in the microwave they stay warm all day, 7 hours,.

I bought these for the no-kill cat shelter that I am involved with to use when we have baby kittens and no mama.

My outside cats (and opposum) really like these. I have one plug for two houses and the third house, I use these. We are so cold here, that I change and put a warm one in after about 7 hours.

Safe product for neonate kittens. Long lasting and reusable.

Pretty much works as advertise, though the heat does not quite last as long as it says. In our weather we find it lasts 5-8 hours outside. Closer to 8 hours if it isnt below zero out. I find it can be very hot to touch if heated for the recommended time. The cover helps, but I would recommend shorting the heating time by 30-60 seconds if placing under pet immediately after heating.
