My husband has health issues and has poor circulation in his legs & feet. I warm this for 3 minutes in microwave and put it between the sheets. His feet stay warm all night. Just dont keep your feet directly on it or they may get too hot. Our cat also curls up at the foot of the bed and feels the warmth thru the covers.

They are super hard,, not at all comfy

Pretty much works as advertise, though the heat does not quite last as long as it says. In our weather we find it lasts 5-8 hours outside. Closer to 8 hours if it isnt below zero out. I find it can be very hot to touch if heated for the recommended time. The cover helps, but I would recommend shorting the heating time by 30-60 seconds if placing under pet immediately after heating.

I have 4 feral cats who live outside, and in the cold weather, they need to keep warm. I put the SnuggleSafe heat pads under their bedding and they literally gravitate to their kitty beds and stay there for hours on end. They are clearly so comfortable despite how cold it is. This 3 pack completes my set of 4 and they and I love them. I have microwaved them over and over twice a day for the past month or so and they are very durable showing no signs of wear at all.

I purchased this as a donation to Best Friends Animal Societys Bottle Baby program. They requested these to use with newborn kittens that are motherless. Although I havent used them myself yet, if its good enough for Best Friends, I assume its a 5 star product.

Continued: After overheating, the kitched filled with a gas that irritated my eyes and made breathing almost impossible. The flooring was burnt and ruined. I was concerned about health effects so I called the US office looking for a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). The guy I spoke with was unhelpful and he blew me off to their UK office, also useless-the computers are down.

My outside cats (and opposum) really like these. I have one plug for two houses and the third house, I use these. We are so cold here, that I change and put a warm one in after about 7 hours.

If you are working with small kittens who need added heat, this product is a life saver! Heating Pads are dangerous due to the electrical cords - I know as I just recently had a kitten electrocuted who was chewing on cord for radio - she survived but spent 3 weeks in ER and has permanent damage and life time seizure meds. These are perfect to heat up and put in with young kittens or cats - we use them for outdoor adoption days when the weather is brisk and we want to showcase our cats and kittens for adoption!
