One of the best purchase I ever made. Got them in the black Friday sale for a little over £100. Pure quality and comfort and the sound is just something else. Nice open and spacious sound with brilliant separation

As others have noted, these are not audiophile level headphones. Theyre definitely missing that grinding detail that so many high-price headphones have. These are just very pleasant-sounding cans with nice bass and huge soundstage for a very decent. You arent going to put these on and be transported to a new realm of sound, but these will almost certainly become your go-to, everyday cans for when you just want to listen to some damn music.

Broken out of the box.

I bought this for use on the PS5 as I was tired of picking a gaming headset that never meets sound quality standards - and if they do, theyre super expensive with either electronics that will get outdated soon, or moving parts that are inevitably not designed to last.

This headphones are really comfortable with the large padding on the ears. The top looks premium, leather makes it better and doesn’t hurt after using for long hours of gaming.

The Phillips Audio Fidelio X2HR headphones are a great value! They look and feel like much higher cost headphones. The construction is sturdy and materials are good quality. The ear pads, as others have mentioned, do easily get lint, hair and dust on them. A quick fix is to use a lint roller on them or just use some masking tape, sticky side out, to clean them up good as new. Sound quality is enjoyable. Pretty flat with nice smooth transfer from digital sources. Bass isnt thumpy, but Im not into that anyway. Still has decent bass but could punch a little more in my opinion. Highs are clear but also a bit subdued as well. These headphones dont color anything more than what it is, but I believe are a great buy. I have a big head and can wear them comfortably for long periods. The do have some weight to them and youll certainly know theyre there. I pair them with an Audioquest Dragonfly Cobalt which really lets these puppies sound their best. I would recommend a headphone amp for these, but it isnt totally necessary. Enjoy them! I think you will be happy with your purchase.

This is a great set of headphones. A worthwhile upgrade from the SHP9500. Definitely worth the extra cost over the SHP9500. These are a great option in the mid-fi category. Even when compared to other offerings from the likes Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic, and AKG.
