Ive had my X2HR;s for a while now and only love them more. I create electronic music and Im a gamer. These are not reference headphones. They have a fun V shape with full and deep bass, pleasing mids and treble and are never harsh or fatiguing. Also quite light and very comfortable.

Really like the sound an comfort. Only thing I’ve noticed is the speaker foam material collects fluff and dust easily. But other than that Great all be it limited to sounds quality

Wow, just wow. Awesome highs, mids and bass. The sound is better than anything in this price range, and most higher priced high end headphones. You wont regret this purchase. They are light, comfortable and sound amazing.

And I agree with the other reviews here... These cans are incredible. Only had them 24 hours but can say they are definitely the most comfortable headphones Ive ever put on and sound amazing. Im driving them with a Little Dot MKII and use the Sonarworks Reference headphone calibration app which has a calibration file for these headphones. I personally think they could be worth more so for $189 you cant go wrong.

Much has been written/said about these so my review will be brief. I am 2-decades-long user of Sony MDR-7506 for most every full-sized headphone application, but in the past 10 or more years I spend 75% of my headphone listening time with various IEMs. Ive had or used (studio, friends, coworkers) a variety of cans over time and the only set Ive *replaced* with the same set is the MDR-7506, not because they broke down but because they were stolen from a gig site location. That said, I recently decided to pick up an open-back pair for home listening and these genuinely surprised me. To me they have a similar curve of my beloved MDRs, but with significantly more lower/sub bass response and a V-cure that isnt quite as pronounced, and a soundstage that is *drastically* larger, with a much more open and airy presentation. In short, its exactly what I wanted and for sub $150 I cant be happier at least at the onset. Are they perfect cans? Nope. That doesnt exist. I just wanted to the Sony MDR comparison because thats not something I was expecting or had read anything about. This is not to say they sound LIKE the MDRs, only that if you enjoy how the MDRs sound you may well enjoy these.
