Philips Hue White and Color Ambiance LED Smart Light Bulb Starter Kit, 3 A19 Smart Bulbs & 1 Hue Hub (Works with Alexa, Apple HomeKit & Google Assistant)

This is so easy to use! Though thats not a feature thats important to me. I HAD to buy this because I had bought some other Hue product unbeknownst of the need of having to have the HUB. The bulbs came in handy, they look good. Terrible value for the money, as I basically ended up spending north of 300 USD on five lamps (of which I only use two, which are the two Hue bars that I had purchased the first time). Google Assistant and Home Assistant integration is a breeze. The app looks good though it doesnt have any animations or anything like that like the Govee lights. These just turn on and off, and change colors, and thats it. The Hub wont cover your entire house if your house is brick and mortar. But ZIGBEE is a mesh protocol, so the more entities you add, the more coverage youll get (but, all costs a lot of money).

This was by far the easiest smart light to set up. I currently have two other smart light brands, and this was the easiest to get started with. One problem I found with other smart lights, is that if the light isn’t found, your basically not able to use it. Philips Hue lights are different. If the light isn’t found, you can enter in the serial number to locate it directly. Worked like a charm when I tried it. The User Interface (UI) in the smartphone app is incredibly user friendly and easy to navigate. Overall brightness and warmth are nothing special, but it is exactly what I expected, so I gave 5stars for those categories.

Only wish it came with an extra bulb. The package makes you think it comes with 12 but it actually only comes with 3. Easy enough to install and work great with Alexa

You wont regret it, youll get addicted

Frustrated because I bought this on Prime Day for really cheap. The two options were Color or White, so as a first time purchaser who’s been looking at these for a while I picked white to try out. I also purchased an extra two white bulbs on a different Hue listing. I ended up getting “Warm White” with this Hub + 3 pack, and my 2 pack was “Soft White”. It’s very irritating because it doesn’t specify the type of white anywhere in this listing which white we were getting. Very disappointed but I’m going to test these out anyway. It’s probably easier to purchase these in the store.

Hue system seems far superior to other lighting systems. Its a bit expensive, but high quality and very easy to use.

Bought the three A9 color set with the hub on Amazon Prime day. Package arrived two days later. Setup took all of 5 minutes. 1. Plug in the hub 2. Plug in the light bulbs 3. Download and use the Philips Hue App on your Mobile 4. Setup the lights, make a room and youre done The quality of the lighting is just fantastic. The integrations to Apple Home, etc are easy and works out of the box (which little setup needed) I had a lot of fun messing around with different color combinations and its easy to save a preset (or use the included ones) Set a wake up timer and the lights slowly faded on this morning around 6:30 (excellent way to wake up - Excited to use this in the winter) Going to replace all my bulbs with these down the line. With this quality and level of flexibility its a no brainier. And yes... these are expensive but you are truly getting what you paid for.
