Philips Hue White and Color Ambiance LED Smart Light Bulb Starter Kit, 3 A19 Smart Bulbs & 1 Hue Hub (Works with Alexa, Apple HomeKit & Google Assistant)

The bulbs work fine, and the range of colors and brightness is very wide. My issue is with Phillips... Y not make them Bluetooth compatible?!?!?! If its storming outside I have to wait for a pocket of connection if I want to change the lights. I can still manually tuen the lights on, but theyre orange, not bright white.... And cant change the colors. For how EXPENSIVE these damn bulbs AND THE HUB!!! Phillips shouldve made the BT capable. Its ridiculous.

Was trying to find a set that comes with 4 bulbs, but none were on sale at the time. This one was okay, for having 3 bulbs. My first time owning a product like this, and it was super easy to setup. Got all 3 bulbs up and running and controlled through Google Assistant in less than 10 minutes.

These can be a little pricey compared to some of the other options, but work flawlessly once setup. Easy install, great app, and easy to integrate with Alexa. Also has great features for outdoor use. Highly recommend.

The V2 hub is working VERY poorly for me. My existing bulbs could only be paired manually after multiple tries. They now regularly show as Unreachable. The new V2 hub is in the same location as my V1 hub was, yet it doesnt work nearly as well. On top of these Im very annoyed that I had to replace perfectly good functioning V1 hardware with a new hub in order to maintain 3rd party integration. It appears Philips realized they could force existing customers to buy more from them - the only logical way to get a new hub is bundled with more bulbs, since the hub alone is almost as costly as a kit. And its certainly predictable that Philips will feel like dropping support for V2 in another year or two to force customers into buying yet another kit. More e-waste, some of which might be recycled, the rest goes in a landfill. My advice, ditch Philips Hue and invest in STANDARD Z-wave/Zigbee / WiFi bulbs and accessories instead.

Even on the brightest white setting, four of these bulbs (purchased this pack plus one more) were not nearly bright enough to light up a decent sized living room with 12 foot ceilings

Love this set. I have placed them in different rooms and now have even set up my routines for each room. The lights come on when I am gone, for peace of mind. The app for my phone is also extremely intuitive and easy to use.

The white 3 pack was a great value for the price, but for a household that doesnt like warm white/soft white, these were a real let down. No where on the listing does it show the packaging or tell you which version of white these are. Theyre definitely not daylight, which is what we prefer.

Bought this item as a gift for a friend and they absolutely love it. It is simple to set up and paired with their alexa dot it makes life a lot easier. Definitely recommend these for purchase.
