Pickling Compound Sparex 2-1/2 lb Bag

Greater than one weekI am a silversmith and use Sparex as my pickling compound. This product turns yellowish brown in color when added to water which is not at all acceptable. It is so bad and murky that I am not able to find my silver pieces in the bottom of my small pickle pot. Awful - I will throw it out and go back to ordering it from my regular supplier, Rio Grande. A real waste of money and truly useless for any jewelry soldering cleaning process.

> 3 dayIt works very effectively to clean silver, gold and copper. Copper must be cleaned separately.

> 3 dayThe product is easy to use and you can manage how much you would like to make. Instructions are straight forward and easy to understand. The 2-1/2 lb bag is more than enough for a jeweler or hobbyist. Arrived on time and packaged properly.

> 3 dayI bought this because its the least expensive $/oz that I could find at the time; Then I learned that the pickle almost never needs to be replaced if you dont contaminate it, so I wont need this much pickling compound. The product description didnt say it, but my order came as 4 separate small bags which is GOOD. It should be able to be stored for longer without absorbing liquid from the air.

> 3 dayI ordered this along with about $200 worth of other items - and this was spilled EVERYWHERE AND ON EVERYTHING!! I wasnt too pleased about that. It may be better to buy this in person somewhere than to have an acidic substance spill. Product itself seems to work fine...what left of it I was able to salvage from it being spilled.
