> 3 dayI am a silversmith and use Sparex as my pickling compound. This product turns yellowish brown in color when added to water which is not at all acceptable. It is so bad and murky that I am not able to find my silver pieces in the bottom of my small pickle pot. Awful - I will throw it out and go back to ordering it from my regular supplier, Rio Grande. A real waste of money and truly useless for any jewelry soldering cleaning process.

> 3 dayThis standard pickle is used by many jewelers/goldsmiths for a good enough reason.

> 3 dayThis stuff works well - it does exactly what is described in the product description. Its just a big sack of pickling compound, and its more than enough for me, since I dont need to clean silver on a full time or industrial level. Ive been using it for months and I still have plenty left. I do wish they had the formulation for smaller batches printed on the back, but a little basic math and youre good if you use a little dipper or similar small crock pot. Perfect for the hobby jewelry maker or non-full time maker.
