Pickling Compound Sparex 2-1/2 lb Bag

Good Pickling compound.

This product is almost impossible to find where I live so I was happy that I found it on amazon. The only thing I really didnt like about the product is the bag it came in looked like it had been sitting in a garage for years, there were even a few small punctures in the fragile bag which makes me worry that I may have lost a bit of the product. Ill have to transfer the compound into a more sturdy bag. Either way, the shipping was fast and the pricing was reasonable.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do.

It’s a pickle, it works. Minus 1 star because the bag is pretty brittle so if you have anything else shipped with it, it’ll likely break. But by itself it seems to be okay. I had a bag break with other items in the box but the replacement by itself arrive with no problems.

Overall I’m happy with this product. If there were more information and instructions I would buy it again. Since I don’t really know if it is supposed to stay warm in a crock pot I’m not going to buy again. Can’t find anything on the internet.Arrived on time, the bag was a little broken from shipping but not too bad! Thanks a bunch!

Really like this compound, worth the price and I use it all the time . Good price too! Great for my silver work.

This is a wonderful product that I have have used for almost forty years. But.....the bag of Sparex had a hole in it. When I opened the bag it was shipped in it spilled acid everywhere. The bag it was shipped in was intact. So someone put a bag of acid with a hole in it and shipped it to me this is unacceptable.
