1st things 1st, have been an Amazon customer for more than 15 years and this may be my first review. Why? Because I took a chance on this fairly unknown monitor and wanted to inform future potential buyers. So the first one arrived DOA, no physical damage, just a scrambled screen. Amazon had a replacement in my hands two days later and wow...going from a 24 inch 1080p monitor to this monster was a huge jump. Running 2xGTX970 in SLI and saw about a 20fps hit from 1080 to 1440p (Currently 80fps on BF V High settings). - No dead pixels - Fairly easy set up for anyone with half a brain (instructions are almost worthless) - Used an Ivanksy DP cable as others have said the included one was trash, be careful not to strip the small screws in the stand - 165hz causes some heavy ghosting in text, but not very noticeable in game (BF V), dropped it to 144hz and text is better -Color and contrast is much better than my ASUS VG248QE (TN) - OSD is fine, gets er done - Bezel is small but not the smallest, no gamer type aesthetics (A good thing) I read a bunch of reviews of people with these elite standards (Haters) and as someone who games regularly, works occasionally, this monitor more than serves my purpose. I dont need some response time only a sensor can recognize or professional colors that I would never notice. So after only 3 days it seems like a real win. I will update this review if I have any issues in the future.

I bought this along with a new Gaming PC, just so I could have a starter monitor that could utilize some of the GPU features like V-Sync and a higher refresh rate. The preset FPS1 setting is pretty solid, but I should probably fiddle with the settings more for when Im using it to work. Easy to setup, worked right out of the box no dead pixels. Cant beat this price for the specs offered IMO, and will use this until I decide on a beefier gaming panel.

Windows 10 inherently has scaling issue when you have a big sized monitor/high resolution like this one in a multi-monitor setup. My text and overall windows toolbar/apps text were blurry and shadowed, fiddling Windows cleartype settings didnt do much, not even the scaling to beyond 100%. I had to apply the registry hack (also there is a tool that does the job i.e. Windows 10 DPI fix ) and after that, the monitor and windows 10 danced together nicely. Texts are sharp and clear, toolbar menu is all nice as it should be. This is not this monitors fault evidently. For normal desktop use, you wont find it much different than your regular office monitor but its when you are gaming, thats when it shines gloriously. Gears 5 is much more vivid that before on my old LG monitor. The only thing Im missing on this monitor is the ability to tilt and swivel. That is a basic necessity these days for a monitor, I hope the manufacturer will incorporate this in their future models. Overall happy with my purchase. Now back to my Gears 5 mission. :)

I use this mostly for programming in a well lit room. The small size makes 1080 text look as crisp as any 4K monitor. Compared to my MacBook Pro, I can see some backlight bleeding, but, its not unbearable. As to color reproduction - Id say it rivals my Samsung 27 4K Monitor My biggest complaint is the button to get to the menu. The button has 4 positions: up, neutral, down, in. Pressing up and down is super easy. Pressing in, it seems hit or miss. If theres even the slightest up or down movement, the IN movement seems to get over-ridden and the menu item up or down gets highlighted (but not selected) After some practice, its easier to navigate. The second complaint is the power cord is REALLY short - maybe 4 or 5 feet. and finding a USB-A to USB-C cable is pretty hard. Luckily, my power strip is right below my desk, so, I dont have any issues, but, just something to consider. THE GOOD They provide a Micro-HDMI cable that is truly awesome. I mean, its really good quality, and not stiff. Again, the color is REALLY good for a monitor this cheap. Its as good as a $300 Samsung, but I have a $500 LG that looks way better. But again, its about 4xs the cost. The case turns into a stand and its really good. Its the perfect angle for working, it doesnt take up a lot of desk space, and the case it soft. I trust this case to protect my screen. OVERALL Im happy with my purchase and my buy another one. The bad, are not bad enough to NOT buy if you need a small monitor for programming and need more desk space. It also works perfect if you want to hook an AppleTV up to it to watch something while traveling. The included cables are good quality, the case protects the monitor amply, and the monitor is small enough to fit into a laptop backpack with a 13 MacBook pro, and both chargers and not be too big or bulky

Its an amazing looking moniter, but its sort of pixely in dark videos/games. Update: I just got a better computer and now its great! The darker light is t pixelated anymore. Great, and cheap product

This monitor can get very bright, has great saturation with its IPS display, and the back of the monitor has a nice modern look. For gaming, it is definitely enough for me with its 144hz display. Furthermore, the 1ms response time is a great plus,, especially when you consider how much less common the feature is with IPS monitors. The only issue though is that even though it is advertised as g-sync compatible (which it needs the DP cable for), it has not been tested by Nvidia and therefore does have some issue with certain games when g-sync is enabled in the Nvidia Control Panel. However, I am overall very happy with this monitor and the great price that I got it for of $170.

Ok let me start out by saying before purchasing this item I contacted pixio directly through email for a few questions. I wasn’t expecting them to respond at all. But they did within minutes surprisingly. Only company to ever reply to me regarding a pre sale question. Great customer service I can say that already. USA based company. Amazing monitor! Super sharp, super detailed and very fast. It was packaged better than any monitor I have ever bought even ones twice this ones price. Had extremely nice soft foam. Not the cheap hard crap. I followed a OSD calibration guide I found on YouTube and dang it’s super color accurate. No back light bleed I can see, no dead pixels, free sync is great, and I honestly don’t know any monitor better for this price. This monitor destroys anything I’ve ever had previously and at 32”! Anyway I highly recommend this. Does need a little tweaking out of the box as far as the color profile. Hardware unboxed has a great guide on YouTube for making it super accurate. Suggest you watch it to get the settings for you to set. But. I absolutely love this monitor and will be buying a second one down the road.
