> 3 dayThis monitor can get very bright, has great saturation with its IPS display, and the back of the monitor has a nice modern look. For gaming, it is definitely enough for me with its 144hz display. Furthermore, the 1ms response time is a great plus,, especially when you consider how much less common the feature is with IPS monitors. The only issue though is that even though it is advertised as g-sync compatible (which it needs the DP cable for), it has not been tested by Nvidia and therefore does have some issue with certain games when g-sync is enabled in the Nvidia Control Panel. However, I am overall very happy with this monitor and the great price that I got it for of $170.

> 3 dayI actually liked this monitor compared to my old monitor, which was a 75hz ASUS TN monitor, but it had way better color. The high fresh rate is fantastic and the thin bezel are also a plus, but Its not perfect. Like many people have said before the color is alittle bit off and the contrast takes a little bit to get perfect, maybe its just me idk. Overall if you want to upgrade to higher refresh rate monitor this pretty great for gaming, if you can get the off color and the contrast balanced you should be good

> 3 dayI’ve read all the reviews and was hesitant but I just went for it and got this monitor cuz I needed one. It works fine! Make sure to plug the hdmi or whatever cable you have into the right spot. The settings are easy to control and if you run into any issues, solutions are pretty easy to come across online. It’s a perfect size in my opinion and the quality is nice.

> 3 dayI use this mostly for programming in a well lit room. The small size makes 1080 text look as crisp as any 4K monitor. Compared to my MacBook Pro, I can see some backlight bleeding, but, its not unbearable. As to color reproduction - Id say it rivals my Samsung 27 4K Monitor My biggest complaint is the button to get to the menu. The button has 4 positions: up, neutral, down, in. Pressing up and down is super easy. Pressing in, it seems hit or miss. If theres even the slightest up or down movement, the IN movement seems to get over-ridden and the menu item up or down gets highlighted (but not selected) After some practice, its easier to navigate. The second complaint is the power cord is REALLY short - maybe 4 or 5 feet. and finding a USB-A to USB-C cable is pretty hard. Luckily, my power strip is right below my desk, so, I dont have any issues, but, just something to consider. THE GOOD They provide a Micro-HDMI cable that is truly awesome. I mean, its really good quality, and not stiff. Again, the color is REALLY good for a monitor this cheap. Its as good as a $300 Samsung, but I have a $500 LG that looks way better. But again, its about 4xs the cost. The case turns into a stand and its really good. Its the perfect angle for working, it doesnt take up a lot of desk space, and the case it soft. I trust this case to protect my screen. OVERALL Im happy with my purchase and my buy another one. The bad, are not bad enough to NOT buy if you need a small monitor for programming and need more desk space. It also works perfect if you want to hook an AppleTV up to it to watch something while traveling. The included cables are good quality, the case protects the monitor amply, and the monitor is small enough to fit into a laptop backpack with a 13 MacBook pro, and both chargers and not be too big or bulky

> 3 dayAfter two weeks, Im pleased (saving that 5th star for when I find out its lifespan). Beautiful picture, no dead pixels that I can see. I use it entirely for gaming, although Ive been playing slower-paced strategy-type games recently, so Im probably not testing the refresh rate very hard. The signal cord is very slightly loose in its socket, so every once in a while the screen would black out and Id have to reach up and tap the cord to re-seat it. I put a thick book there so the cord is forced to bend one way, and that seems to fix it. A little tape might be the way to go if you cant do that, or maybe yours will fit tighter.

> 3 dayAbsolutely beautiful. the ips panel makes colors pop. went back and launched some old games; its a new experience. Gotham knights at 1440p 60fps at night looking at the colors on buildings, the character detail, the lights defusing thru fog off cars. just immaculate. buying another one for sure. no idea why i held off for 2 years.

> 3 dayThe 144hz 1440p monitor is flipping fantastic. I upgraded from a also pretty dope MSI Mag series 144hz curved monitor and this thing knocks it out of the water in terms of color reproduction and overall image quality. Sure the jump from 60hz to 144hz is huge, but the jump from 1080p to 1440p is also a pretty big trip. Text is really sharp on this thing and the sheer amount of screen real estate makes almost necessary to have multiple things going on at once. The 165hz is made possible by turning off freesync and fiddling with the monitor settings in windows and the tradeoff is ok but either is great really. Its not quite perfect as when I put up my pixel to the monitor the colors are considerably less vibrant and while streaming quality varies from device to device, while watching Game of Thrones infamous S8E2 there was more choppy black to dark grey transitions on this monitor than my phone. Might be a combination of OLED vs VA and phone vs PC but just thought Id let it out there. Brightness is also not quite to the level of being able to have a window left wide open on a sunny day, but it hasnt left me asking for more often.

Greater than one weeki really love how much Hz you get for the price. very sold if you want high frames on a budget if your willing to sacrifice a bit of functionality and picture quality for the price. over all solid pick really gets the most out of your console or pc.

> 3 day1st things 1st, have been an Amazon customer for more than 15 years and this may be my first review. Why? Because I took a chance on this fairly unknown monitor and wanted to inform future potential buyers. So the first one arrived DOA, no physical damage, just a scrambled screen. Amazon had a replacement in my hands two days later and wow...going from a 24 inch 1080p monitor to this monster was a huge jump. Running 2xGTX970 in SLI and saw about a 20fps hit from 1080 to 1440p (Currently 80fps on BF V High settings). - No dead pixels - Fairly easy set up for anyone with half a brain (instructions are almost worthless) - Used an Ivanksy DP cable as others have said the included one was trash, be careful not to strip the small screws in the stand - 165hz causes some heavy ghosting in text, but not very noticeable in game (BF V), dropped it to 144hz and text is better -Color and contrast is much better than my ASUS VG248QE (TN) - OSD is fine, gets er done - Bezel is small but not the smallest, no gamer type aesthetics (A good thing) I read a bunch of reviews of people with these elite standards (Haters) and as someone who games regularly, works occasionally, this monitor more than serves my purpose. I dont need some response time only a sensor can recognize or professional colors that I would never notice. So after only 3 days it seems like a real win. I will update this review if I have any issues in the future.
