I purchased this luggage for a 2 week long vacation in Europe. After about 7 flights, this luggage managed to stay in great condition and was extremely easy to transport. You can pack a tremendous amount of stuff in this luggage and the zippers are great quality. I would recommend this over my Away luggage.

So worth it!! Bought this for my husband. I love it more than my away carry on. 10/10 highly recommend.

I loved this suitcase but just could not justify the price. I was specifically looking for a polycarbonate expandable 21 suitcase to mostly be a checked bag. Often a 25 is more than I really need but an non-expandable 21 isnt quite enough. This meets those criteria but the price is the drawback. I opted instead for 21 Travelpro Maxlite Air Hardside Expandable (scored an Amazon Warehouse version for a great price).

I really like how this bag rolls, seemed to do a good job protecting fragile items inside. Laptop pocket was handy albeit a little tight to get your fingers in to pull out the laptop for security. (I have a 15 macbook pro) i really loved the port on the side where u could add your own power bank and charge your devices. Their pocket for the power bank was a little too small for mine, but the cord was just long enough that i could reroute it to a larger pocket that fit my bank. BUT on the very first trip with this carry on - the top handle completely broke off on one side as the uber guy was lifting it out of his trunk. Since thats the handle youre probably going to use when picking it up to put in an overhead bin on the plane you need that extra sturdy and mine clearly was not. Maybe i got a lemon - back it goes and the search continues. The larger check size of this bag seemed to survive handling better but it had the lining separate from the bag where it is sewn to the inside of the bag. So Im not sold....

I love everything Travel Pro. I was smitten (fell in love at first site kind of thing) with my first Travel Pro Backpack that was simply AMAZING. There was nothing that wasnt premium in its construction and it is my favorite bag I own, I use it EVERY TIME I TRAVEL.

This bag was great upon arrival and for the first 2 trips. Really good looking bag and lightweight. Be careful because its so big its easy to go over weight with normal packing- you cant stuff it full or you will definitely pass the 50lb mark.

Unfortunately I ordered the vintage grey model in time for an overseas move. Item arrived in the wrong color (black).

So Ive never owned high-end luggage like this before and therefore dont really have a frame of reference for luggage at this price point, but ultimately I love this bag! I decided to try the medium checked bag because we were in need of luggage at this size and currently have a few carry-on pieces already. The TravelPro Platinum Elite Expandable Medium Checked Bag arrived to me in great condition. It comes in its own drawstring sleeve that I guess you could use for storage. I was surprised at how lightweight the bag is, considering its size. Right off the bat, it felt sturdy from the outside, and even inside too I noticed its construction when I was packing. It has high-quality wheels that turn 360 degrees for easy maneuvering. The expandable handle is adjustable at different heights, and even at its highest still feels solid. The bag also has two stationary handles, one at the top and one on the side. The design of the bag feels refined and noticeable when looking for it at baggage claim. It has a built in lock, with a 3-digit code than you can set to whatever youd like. The bag locks by inserting the zippers together into the lock holes. Instructions, as well as warranty registration information are inside of the bag. The inside comes with expandable clips to keep your clothes in place, as well as zippered covers on each side. On an overseas trip, the bag did great. Everything was kept in place and even the outside of the bag didnt come with any dents or scratches, which I think speaks to the high-quality construction of the outer shell. I dont usually go for hardside luggage, as I find it bulky and unappealing, but this is different. As I mentioned, it feels and looks upscale. I like that it comes with a five year warranty, and after traveling with this bag I feel that Ill need to save up for the matching carry-on.

Travelling to Europe recently and wanted a spinner case as my wife and daughter like theirs so much on entering and exiting the airplane. I switched to Travelpro as so many pilots and cabin crew use them. Ive owned Eagle Creek, Tumi and Briggs and Riley in the past and the latter brand was going to be my choice until I chose Travelpro.
