Greater than one weekOn my very first trip with the luggage, it came back to me this huge damage out of the airport carousel. I had no idea as to what happened to the bag over the travel. the durability of the bag must be compromised. Other than that, the bag itself meets my needs in functionality, manuevability, and light weight.

> 3 dayI like the utility of this luggage piece. You have access to an external USB charging port which makes recharging cell phones in the airport easier. The pockets are well designed to help with article separation. It wheels well and is comfortably controlled through the extendable handle. While I welcome the TSA locking mechanism, they always seem to break mine open instead of using their key to open them so Ive given up on locking luggage (I wish somebody would hold airports accountable for preventable luggage damage; would it really kill you to ask me to open the luggage instead of prying open a lock you supposedly have a key for!?!). The dark blue is nice looking and the smaller size is great for use as a carry on; though the compact carry on version is probably sized slightly better.

> 3 dayI have had a Tumi suitcase for years. Recently a black rubber bumper that covers the edges of the zipper gave way. The factory repair would be to costly and self glue just didn’t hold. So I started looking for a different suitcase. That’s when I found Travelpro. I am very pleased. I like that the travepro has zipped compartments on both sides of the suitcase. Also it rolls like a dream! I am a world traveler and need a reliable case. I think the travelpro will last as long as my old case at half the price.

> 3 dayIm still in the process of using this Travelpro Platinum Elite Expandable Hardside Spinner bag. So far, it has gotten me through 6 airports on 3 trips. It is sized well for a carry-on, and I like the 2 zippered halves. I also wanted to lighten up my backpack, so I slid my Powerbook in the computer sleeve (accessible from the outside) into the case. It fit well, and I felt comfortable transporting it in there (although I would have taken it out if I had used this bag as check-on luggage). I dont use the battery slot function. Im good to go!

> 3 dayThis travel bag did not even make it out the door the first time. Interior fabric tore as I was zipping up the interior panels. Cheapest fabric I have ever seen from Travelpro. Returned it!

> 3 dayI really like how this bag rolls, seemed to do a good job protecting fragile items inside. Laptop pocket was handy albeit a little tight to get your fingers in to pull out the laptop for security. (I have a 15 macbook pro) i really loved the port on the side where u could add your own power bank and charge your devices. Their pocket for the power bank was a little too small for mine, but the cord was just long enough that i could reroute it to a larger pocket that fit my bank. BUT on the very first trip with this carry on - the top handle completely broke off on one side as the uber guy was lifting it out of his trunk. Since thats the handle youre probably going to use when picking it up to put in an overhead bin on the plane you need that extra sturdy and mine clearly was not. Maybe i got a lemon - back it goes and the search continues. The larger check size of this bag seemed to survive handling better but it had the lining separate from the bag where it is sewn to the inside of the bag. So Im not sold....
