Ive never had a longboard and I can tell you for sure that this is a great board to learn on. Again, its a starter board - so theres a few caveats. The most being the bearings being sub par. HOWEVER! For learning purposes, its probably better you start off with a really tight and slow board to learn the basics then work your way to replacing the bearings. Reds are a great set to put in! But what really shines is the customer service. As a lot of other reviews have noted the packing is sometimes lackluster and can cause minor cosmetic or hardware defects. In my case it was a small crack running down from one of the trucks. Having never really worked with boards before, a quick email to the company and they provide a quick and reasonable solution. The company itself REALLY values its customers, so if you have any questions definitely shoot them an email. Trust me, coming from someone who just wanted to start and get into boarding, this is a great buy!

Son wanted a longer skateboard for college and he loves how the board easily handles his 62, 235 lb. frame. Its flexes and maneuvers very well. Well see how the longevity and dependability of this board holds up to his everyday use while in college.

My daughter loves her new longboard. It was easy for her to get the hang of.

Im prone to GAS (gear acquiring syndrome) and a bad habit of mine is to invest in gear before Im committed to a hobby. Ive done a lot of research to understand the types of boards out there. If your serious about longboarding, you probably wont be on Amazon trying to find one here. Why? One argument is that you should support local skate shops and the brands that support the longboarding community. Another argument is that buying a cheap board will result in a less than enjoyable ride that will ultimately turn you off from longboarding. As a beginner with no stake in the longboarding community, it was important to me that I find a decent ride to cruise around in. I bought this board along with the Quest 42 longboard (one for me, and one for my fiance). Its good for what we use it for. We have paved hilly, concrete trails next to our house and its been a joy to ride around. This has a good center of gravity and nice big wheels to roll over dips. As for how comfortable the ride is, its not as smooth as a Quest longboard and it makes more creaks when making turns, but its more agile than the Quest (maybe because its shorter and its a drop through). Its nice and sturdy and I dont feel bad for beating it up. We had these boards for about 2 weeks now. For less than $50, we definitely got our moneys worth in time and enjoyment. I like that it came with a skate tool to tighten up the trucks. You definitely need to tighten them up every now and then so avoid speed wobbles if going downhill really fast. It also comes with stickers that I didnt care for... very childish but maybe if you have kids you can give it to them. In summary, if you are a beginner then this is a great way to start.

I was searching through Amazon looking for a good, reliable long board that could last me a while and came across numerous other options for roughly the same price. I would check the reviews of the other boards and cracking/breaking was a common issue with a good amount of them. To add on, the bearings and trucks were cheaply made, making me choose Playshion instead. The common issue with boards at this price range are the bearings and the trucks, but with this board they are pretty good if you loosen them slightly. Before this board, I used a Sector 9 board which is about $150-200 which I enjoyed riding but gave away to a relative. I will be honest and say the Playshion board can be compared to the Sector 9 because it is priced perfectly for what you get. The maple wood feels great, although it does have some wood splinters that werent smoothed down. The wheels are wide and make it easy to go over pretty much everything, rocks, branches, and even curbs. The bearings are alright and you wont have to change them for a good while. As I said, the only thing about this board is that you have to loosen the trucks and wheels a bit so that you can go faster, but at the same time I enjoy to have my board a bit more sensitive than most. Overall, I would recommend this board to anyone who is getting into long-boarding and doesnt want to break the bank. The concave design of the board makes it easy to steer and control for those learning as well.

There was an extra piece of metal on the trucks which caused bearings to get stuck and I threw out my shoulder getting them off. It was easily fixed with a knife but that’s the only reason I’m giving this board 4 stars instead of 5. There is an occasional dent in the wood but that’s to be expected. The trucks and bearings should be replaced over time as with any cheap board. If you get this for a kid make sure the truck axel doesn’t have extra metal because this can be dangerous and possibly stop the wheel, throwing them off the board.

This is a very well-made Chinese board. I have no real experience with board sports, so having bought this for $60, I have no complaints. I don’t know whether I will want another board as I get more experience, but I’m completely satisfied with this one from the start. Plus, it comes with the necessary tools to do some work on it. Just a note: my board came in through UPS and the box was very damaged. I’m not saying that this is necessarily a bad thing since the board was in perfect condition, but the box had no structural support inside of it. My one gripe would be about the packaging, not the board itself.

Bought this board and have been riding for a few months. I love it! I did a lot of research to find one best suited for stability, smooth ride and reasonable price and it did not disappoint. When I cleaned my bearings I did note that a couple already werent working properly only after a few months of riding. I contacted the seller late evening and the next morning I already had a reply saying they wouldnt just send me the couple I needed but a whole new set. AMAZING customer service. Within 5 days of contacting them, they replied, had my new bearings sent out and at not cost to me. Love the board, love their customer service. Thanks Mike from FUNSHION!

Overall I liked it, as a beginner it took a lot of practicing to get the hang of longboarding but with this board its especially fun once you get used to it and the board becomes less stiff the more you use it. Only warning is that dont try going down hills if you arent confident since with this board can get pretty fast pretty quickly. I usually only use it on small hills that Im confident on.

    Greater than one week

Received this board a week ago. I have been riding longboards around campus and around the neighborhood for a while now, I wouldnt consider myself a beginner (bought the board because of the price). This is a decent board for the price and is a great beginner board. My only complaint is with the bushings being too hard but that is a personal preference. I replaced the bushings and the board feels much better in turns now. Would definitely recommend.
