Im total noob to this so I may not know enough to give a thorough critic. Would buy again. Smooth ride, stable, feels good. Quality looks very good. Pro - easy to turn, flex good for learning the way to control the board. Con - maybe too much flex? As speed increases have to be careful or it wobbles but it could be Im just not that skilled at riding.

for the price, 8 plys of maple work instead of 10 and Im a 250 guy. wheels and trucks are smooth and quick on smoother surfaces. wheels are a bit soft so your $$$ buddies boards may go a bit faster but this is a great value for carving and cruisin, graphics are sweet. really love this board for fun long rides on pathways or fresh smooth asphalt streets.

Would 100% recommend this board. I spent quite a lot of time researching and reading reviews to find this one. Im a beginner and didnt want to spend too much money if I ended up being terrible at it or something. Its sooo worth the money. Once you open your package you can ride it right away. May just need to loosen the trucks a little bit. It also came with a tool which is super awesome- not sure if every style does though so just be careful of that. All around awesome longboard and I really could not be happier with this purchase, I would totally buy another one of these babys

There was an extra piece of metal on the trucks which caused bearings to get stuck and I threw out my shoulder getting them off. It was easily fixed with a knife but that’s the only reason I’m giving this board 4 stars instead of 5. There is an occasional dent in the wood but that’s to be expected. The trucks and bearings should be replaced over time as with any cheap board. If you get this for a kid make sure the truck axel doesn’t have extra metal because this can be dangerous and possibly stop the wheel, throwing them off the board.

Outstanding board for the price. Im a beginner and this board was forgiving yet capable. It turns really well with the trucks being just stiff enough for me (Im 175lbs). Because it is so stable, Im already learning how to move my feet around to carve better turns or get more speed while pushing. The bearings are very smooth btw, almost too smooth for a complete beginner. The board shot out from under me the first time I tried it. Once I got used to it though, I appreciated how easy it was to keep the wheels rolling. I could even carve little turns to build speed, based on the tuning of the trucks relative to the boards flexibility and bearings smoothness. Also yes, it really is 6.6lbs, very light and convenient.

Ive never had a longboard and I can tell you for sure that this is a great board to learn on. Again, its a starter board - so theres a few caveats. The most being the bearings being sub par. HOWEVER! For learning purposes, its probably better you start off with a really tight and slow board to learn the basics then work your way to replacing the bearings. Reds are a great set to put in! But what really shines is the customer service. As a lot of other reviews have noted the packing is sometimes lackluster and can cause minor cosmetic or hardware defects. In my case it was a small crack running down from one of the trucks. Having never really worked with boards before, a quick email to the company and they provide a quick and reasonable solution. The company itself REALLY values its customers, so if you have any questions definitely shoot them an email. Trust me, coming from someone who just wanted to start and get into boarding, this is a great buy!

I absolutely love this board. I have already owned different types of boards, includinga regular skateboard (for tricks), a regular cruiser board (larger wheels), and an electric skateboard (even though I still consider myself a beginner lol). I bought this longboard purely for curiosity, just want to see how it feels to stand on the longer deck. So far, I believe longboard is the best option for beginners (if you dont plan to learn tricks, at least for now). Because it gives you more stabilty and more rooms for your feet to move around. Once you feel more confident, you can try shorter board which are eaiser to carry around. Overall, I really like this board. The design is also the style I like, which was also the reason I wanted to purchase it in the first place. I recommed it to beginners who are curious about skateboading/longbaording but doesnt want to break their bank.

Let me just say, I really love this board. I am fairly new to longboarding. The trucks and wheels aren’t terrible and I felt were adequate for the price. I am learning to longboard with my 8 year old daughter and I rode this about 9 miles (in one day I have rode it several times after that) out of the box, no upgrades. I have since purchased new trucks, wheels, and barrings. Just for my preference. I’m not sure if I would have gotten out cheaper if I would have purchased from a board shop but I’m not complaining. I didn’t want to invest a lot upfront if I ended up not liking it or not being able to longboard. This is a great board for beginners and with a few upgrades it’s a fantastic board, but what comes with it works fine. Not to mention the price is really amazing. So if you’re a newbie and considering a board I highly recommend it!

I used to bail on every tiny little slope or when the board gets too fast. I am now able to clear 2 of the main downslopes in my park! The feeling of curving along the path whilst listening to Mofak: Superb. The first few sessions do be kinda tough on the left ankle tho, probably just cuz I was kicking too hard. Otherwise, MangoBoarding after a long day was exactly what I needed. Maintenance and Build: I clean the board after every use as I do get into sandy areas along the paths. While its relatively easy to just flush the mud off the axles and wheels, the grip tape does seem reluctant to let go of mud caked onto it. The deck is probably made of some indestructible wood. Ive had the board ram into a lamppost and a concrete pillar without receiving a hint of scratch, splinter or dent. It even took a bit off from the concrete pillar itself!

After riding this board for about two weeks I highly recommend it! This is a really nice board for beginners as well as intermediates, the ride is smooth and fun. I let people whom never tried it before have a go, and they said it feels very stable, doesnt take much time to get used to and its lots of fun. Go get one for yourself, you wont regret it!
